It is an wonderful place for You and Your loved dogs! I love it . My 4 months dog have been learning, how to interact and shate with his new friends!

Very clean and great place and spacious.

I wish it was larger but it is much better than nothing! It was very clean and my dog enjoyed it. Wood chip flooring and a tree or two. There is seating for humans.

This dog park is fantastic now that its been renovated. It has astroturf instead of dirt and sawdust like all the other dog parks in this city (no clue who decided dogs dont deserve or need grass but ok lol) so my dog doesnt get filthy when he plays. There's a fair amount of seating, and there's water for the dogs. Its also now split into a large and small section, rather than just one big park like it was before.

I don't have a dog but the pet owners and dogs seemed have good time. It is a large enough space for the K-NINES to run & play with each other as well as good excercise in a safe space. My Mom & I would watch them from a park bench nearby in warm weather.

Love this dog park. It's sad that it closes so early in the winter. Should close at 8 or 9 regardless of when the sun sets.

I've been to this dog park many times. I do agree if a dog is aggressive warn other owners and keep them on leash so it's not possible for other dogs just trying to have fun at risk of seriously getting injured. I get it people want to teach them to be social but when it's crowded it's best to not have the aggressive dog inside. The dog park is big and roomy enough. Please owners be considerate for others and your own pet safety. I also want to say if there's rough playing in the park that day I also recommend those owners to judge the park first before entering. It's best to always be careful. Edited: It reopened and it has improved, there is a water hose there now so the park can be cooled down and for them to have better access for water. This dog park community been so awesome! ❤️

Took my husky pup to this dog park, being a first time dog owner I was a bit scared. Icey socialized so well and everyone was so welcoming, Bella and her owner was so helpful. The only thing that I didnt like and my dog could have been seriously hurt…..the spacing on the benches is not suitable to have in a dog park!!!! My pups leg got caught and thankfully she was fine, but trust me it could have been worse. Riverside park needs to rectify that ASAP

The dog area is not good they should put it some place else it was better before when that area didn't have no dog around it was more clean they should take that off for good

It took some years to finally get it built but it's a great place to connect with wonderful pet owners and happy furry little ones.

Beautifully renovated dog run with puppy turf, a water source, with separate large and small dog areas. The neighborhood and community group really worked hard to get this park renovated, so everyone really takes pride in keeping it maintained. Dogs are super friendly, and owners very responsible. If you visit, please make sure to respect the rules and clean up after your dog (cleaners, bags, and scoops are all provided- so no excuses); and supervise your pet to ensure the continued pleasant experiences for everyone. 0:29

Sweet little dog run with a good number of benches for humans. Smaller than St. Nicholas Park Dog Run and Sir whatsits Dog Run in Fort Tryon Park, and bounded by a less woodsy atmosphere of Riverside Drive and whatever industrial buildings below on the Hudson River side. Still, we're grateful for any safe enclosed space a dog can run off-leash and meet/play with new doggie friends!

Dogs are great. Dog owners are too. Folks are attentive, responsive, and I haven't experienced any significant doggy conflicts. On occasion, a responsible owners has chosen to leave for another time/day, instead of pressing a bad situation. Commendable!! Dog run is serviceable, but would benefit from better grounds maintenance/material and more sensible hours. Newly posted hours (8am-Dusk) are to late for morning pre-workday use and to early (mid autumn, all winter, mid spring) for "evening" closing hours. Something I hope is reviewed and adjusted soon. It is an asset to this community and a safe space for dogs, dog owners and residents of NYC.

The dogs and pet parents are all friendly. The grounds are dirt and wood chips, so you dog might get dirty. There are shade covered benches, a great view of the Hudson River, and a lovely park. Bring water for your dog.
