When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide (display name, bio). When you submit reviews or upload photos, that content is stored and associated with your account. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Operate and improve the Woofolo directory
Display your reviews and pet profiles to other users
Send transactional emails (password resets, account notices)
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use session cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States. We apply industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can update your profile information from the Account Settings page.

6. Children's Privacy

Woofolo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Woofolo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
