Beautiful little park with lots of history. There is a Native American burial mound on the property. Beautiful boardwalks, nature trails and a bench right on the water. It is dog friendly, but I'm not sure if there's a restroom. I didn't see one. Educational too! Love this place!

My fiancé stumbled upon this park on the maps and wow! What a hidden oasis. When you walk down the path on my first pic I thought that was it but it was much bigger than I expected. Such a great walk and decent amount of shade. We will def be back for a picnic day.

This park is gorgeous. A hidden gem. The trees are so beautiful and there’s wildlife everywhere. The beach was such a nice surprise! We were there just before sunset and it was amazing to watch next to the water. There were squirrels and birds throughout the park playing and singing to each other. Loved it and hoping to visit again someday!! Dog-friendliness Amazing trails for puppies. We seen so many well behaved dogs walking the trails.

One of my favorite spots. Very quiet little park. Walk way right up to the water. A few little tables and a mini nature trail. Great place to just sit and relax. Free parking and no gate...so there's access to it at night as well. Big beautiful trees for shade here and lots of grass to sit and have a nice picnic. Dog friendly! 0:29

Abercrombie Park is a hidden gem! It’s peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a quiet afternoon. The walking trails are well-kept and offer beautiful views of the water and surrounding greenery. There’s a real sense of calm here, and it’s not overly crowded like some other parks. 0:26

Such a beautiful Park, didn't get to walk too much because it rained but what I saw was a great! I will definitely be back there. It would be a beautiful place to go see the sunset

Tucked away, this smaller, narrow park acts big for its size, offering some unobstructed views of the bay, some getaway and even hilled walking paths with boardwalks, nice tree cover throughout, some less traveled areas for a quiet book read, and a touch of history. We picked a perfect blue sky day with temps in the mid 70s, so it all added up to a very pleasant surprise and experience. Restrooms None

This is a peaceful, beautiful park with gorgeous trees on Boca Ciega bay. It has paved walkway along with boardwalks. There were many unleashed friendly dogs, great for letting children explore and relaxing. The energy was outstanding, it’s on the Indian burial mounds which you’ll also see the numerous bright white shells on the grounds. Definitely worth going back. Dog-friendliness There were many unleashed friendly dogs walking with their owners exploring nature and chasing squirrels. Picnic area There are picnic tables everywhere along with plenty of open grass throughout although while we were collecting nature in plastic bags, we were surrounded by numerous hungry squirrels who thought it was food. I’m not sure I’d picnic there for that reason.

This is a hidden little park with green grass, fun trees, and a long road/walkway down towards the little beach area. That road/walkway has benches along the way to take little breaks. It is dog-friendly for friendly dogs. There are newer wooden pathways through the trees for some exploring and you can go deeper in and find old Native American mounds. This is not a playground kind of park and it doesn’t have an open field since the grass has trees and is sorta hilly but I do love it for a local photos spot. And my kids like to climb the trees. Playground None. But trees are climbable! Restrooms N/A Dog-friendliness No fence. But it is a great place for friendly dogs.

Small park with short trails leading to and around the water. It's very scenic and beautiful, but as many others have already stated, it's very short, so don't expect to get your cardio workout done here. It's more of a place that allows you to take a quick breather and then get on with your day. Dog-friendliness Pretty much everyone here had their dogs (usually multiple), so it's very dog friendly! Picnic area Many picnic tables scattered throughout the park.

It's a great place. I like to bring some fishing poles and some snacks. There are plenty of things to do. When im there, I like to walk the trails and do some fishing. I've caught red fish snook and trout. Bring your dog. It's a good place to walk your animals. The scenery is beautiful. The water view is terrific. Playground Not that I saw. But plenty of room to run and play. Restrooms There are no restrooms Dog-friendliness Yes bring your pets. Picnic area As long as you bring the squirrels a snack lol.

I must’ve driven by this park a million times in my travels. So glad I intentionally stopped to take in this peaceful park. Small stroll to the water and loved all the trees and nature. There are benches and picnic tables to sit a spell and breathe it all in.

We are originally from the Midwest and this park reminds us of many parks back home. The walking paths and bridges are amazing and all lead to the water which is awesome. At times you feel as though you may be in Jurassic Park and the rustling sounds from the trees and bushes further that feeling. Super amazing park that is immaculately taken care of by the city as with all parks within St Petersburg! Definitely recommend

The park is beautiful but small. Good for a short walk. There is a little trail, benches, and a tiny beach. Dogs are allowed on-leash. I wanted to go further, so explored the residential streets around the park and saw a peacock!

Went here with my family today, 2-4-2025, so looking forward to going here and reading a lot of positive reviews. It's absolutely disappointing. It should be " Called The Squirrel Park " some women with her dog without a leash said this is ( The Squirrel Park ), the Squirrels looked like they were all going to attack us . It was one of the most frightening experiences I ever had. I have a phobia of squirrels. They were within the feet of me and my family . As we continued barely into the park, more and more ( squirrels seemed to appear), and then other wildlife . Didn't even get to enjoy walking through the park or my main reason going there to get a beautiful sunset picture. What a horrific experience . The pictures on the website look nothing like they do in real life, please update your website. We read there weren't supposed to be any dogs unless there were in a leash . Wow, what a disappointment.

Great park and dog friendly. Lots of squirrels and a good view of the sunsets! Plenty of space to walk around and places to sit at. Lots of people come and go, nice little hidden gem! Dog-friendliness Very! Picnic area Tables to eat at and benches.

Abercrombie Park is one of the many beautiful waterfront parks in St. Petersburg. The park is located in the Jungle Terrace neighborhood and offers a relaxing and serene area to enjoy with family and friends. You will also find picnic tables, a boardwalk, scenic views to watch the sunset and boats passing. This very shaded area is great to just relax in the evenings or on the weekend. It filled with mature trees with some wildlife. I enjoyed my time there. Picnic area Picnic area is shaded and clean. 0:22
