My favorite dog park in Decatur. It's the shape of a U, so it's almost like two dog parks in one. My dogs mainly come to chase the squirrels in the trees. Plenty of seating and running area.

I loved the park and shade. That’s wasn’t the issue. After realizing that my dog was not welcomed, we left. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I know that not everyone is accepting to pit bulls but they watched her play. She was more afraid of them. They slowly started to disappear to the other side of the park until it was only myself and my dog left. As I sit in my car to type this, I see them walking back to the other said where we were. So park and dogs were great! Dog parents were not.

Great dog park. People seem to pay attention to their dogs more than most dog parks in Atlanta. There's also a higher ground so it doesn't flood after rain. Only downside is it tends to be empty during the day.

My dogs and I love Adaire Dog Park. I've been to very few others, but the atmosphere is good and the owners are generally attentive. There are two sections that are opening connected at a bottle neck so it's possible to separate dogs if needed. There are two public entrances and a third private entrance for a neighborhood. There is water that owners need to periodically fill and currently a giant pile of wood mulch that owners can (but so far havn't) spread over areas that can get muddy. The two sections are big enough to allow for some good running and there are lots of trees for shade.

This park is one of the best! We always meet the best dogs and the kindest people. They have ample space, water, a first aid kit, toys, and two sides that give your dog more than enough space to run!

Great place for a dog to stretch their paws. Water available for the pups and plenty if space to run.

Very spacious. But not safe for puppies or small kids. In the past 2 months my poor pup has been trampled and beaten up TWICE by overly aggressive dogs, and owners who don't know their dog's limits with puppies. Our first visit 2 months ago, a 2 y/o mixed breed was chasing, growling, biting at my 8 m/o terrier in a way that said enough is enough. I went in to get my pup but other owner just thought it was hilarious. The fighting wasn't done untill he (that owner) said it was done. But low and behold, I gave Adair a second chance. My baby, now 9 months old, went around to the side of the park where younger dogs were playing. My 2 kids were with me. Immediately an owner gets up and warns that her dog is "not good around small kids or puppies." I'm thinking -"well hell lady, this is a PUBLIC PARK!" My 12-year-old daughter sits down on a bench, does not move or say anything, and her dog just attacks my daughter for no reason! At that point my puppy goes crazy and a brawl of dogs ensues! We then proceed to leave the park. I was impressed at first, but after being attacked twice by violent aggressive dogs, when their sign clearly says NOT to bring aggressive dogs, I think I'll pass on the Adair Dog Park. Very spacious. But not safe for puppies or small kids.

The Dog park itself is wonderful and you meet some swell puppies and people. However, I've heard countless times over the past few years that there's a circle of regulars that are far from welcoming. I started going there this summer to see for myself and we met some fantastic play buddies for my pooches. However, I also ran into that high school clique mentality with one of the group of regulars. It's a shame that the humans bringing their dogs can be so unwelcoming to others. But, the park is beautiful. It is huge. There is plenty of space and you will meet other people there that match the friendly and inclusive nature of Decatur -- Just be prepared for the people in their circle...cause "You can't sit [t]here.."

One of my favorite dog parks in Decatur! Covered in trees! The bugs can get bad but everyone is very friendly, the dogs are well mannered and my dog loves to chase the squirrels. No separation between big and small dogs, but the park is fairly large and U-shaped.

We love this dog park, it is fully fenced in a U shape so dogs can be separated if needed. It is also shady and they have a spot to hose off your dog if needed. Most of the dog owners are vigilant about staying on top of their dogs and making sure nothing happens, but a few aren't so definitely watch your dog to make sure things are okay. Dog-friendliness Very dog friendly of all sizes, breeds, and ages

This is a cute dog park. Well shaded with mature trees. Varied terrain and natural features for an engaging play landscape. No water, it appears to be a bring and donate an old milk gallon full of water type deal. Fun dog people too.

I give it a 4.5/5. i wish more pet owners would pick up after their dog. other than that it was great we had a fun and it was very spacious which was perfect for my weimaraner and his squirrel fetish. also perfect for my dachshund and her need to explore.

We love this park! The people and dogs are always pleasant and I really like that it's shaded. The parking is a bit limited, but I haven't had many problems with that. Also, this is not necessarily a place where your dog will get a lot of interaction (like Piedmont on a Saturday). Usually there are only a few other dogs and often they aren't the wrestling/chasing type. If you're looking for a more laid-back, quiet park to walk around with your dogs, this is it.

Love taking my dogs here! He loves to run and chase the squirrels. 99.9% of the time everything is great! The only not so nice experience has been with people bring small kids into the park. One of my dogs is large and runs fast. Dog-friendliness The dog park is great! Shade, water and lots of squirrels to chase.

Pretty chill dog park. I rated 4 because my pup likes more dogs and in the evenings when I go, there are about 5 dogs. The great part is water is always available and there is a lot of room to roam. It's shaded in most areas. I need to do a better job bringing bug spray for me! Humans and pups are very friendly.

They have a large area and smaller area, but no gate in between. A little rough terrain for a puppy but great for bigger dogs. Very friendly atmosphere.

I just love Adair Dog Park. Get to meet some really nice folks, hear their dog story, and hang out with the pups - all breeds and sizes. They even welcomed my very friendly pittie mix...no questions asked, no snide remarks, or funny looks. Everyone had a great time on a sunny afternoon!

Big shady/wooded fenced area for dogs to run and play. This is a great place to burn off energy for both my 2 legged and 4 legged kids. Be aware that there are no restroom facilities, only a portapotty. Playground Nice playground for young kids Restrooms No restrooms Dog-friendliness Huge area for dogs

Great dog park in Decatur. I've started taking my 5 month old puppy and our 1 year old dog here to let them release some much needed energy. It's very well maintained, & water is kept stocked for the dogs. They have a little pool for the dogs to play in, & all the owners are cool.
