Bark Springs Dog Park Smyrna TN

We love this dog park. It’s simple and clean and never too crowded. It might not be the best spot to meet new friends but it’s great if you want some open space for your dog to run around. There are poop bags and a few tennis balls around usually. There is also a nice water fountain and two separate areas for small and large dogs.

Probably one of the best dog parks in the murfreesboro, smyrna, lavergne area. We bring our three pups here fairly often. 9/10 times all the dogs are well behaved and get along splendidly. There's always that random occasion but it's rare. The park is split up into a big dog area and an area for smaller pups. Both sides are relatively large compared to others in the area and have shaded spots in case you or your pup get hot on a summer day. There's also a walking trail and a huge field behind the parks that we like to adventure over to as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a place to get your dogs energy out or just to socialize with other pups.

Was fine for a dog park. Did not wow me. We prefer Two Rivers it has a paved walking course through the large fenced in area so you can walk or kids can ride roller blades while the pup plays. My Rottie did make some friends. I am not big on the mandated segregation. I feel if your going to make one for bog dogs and one for small dogs why not make a third one for all inclusive. There are bog dogs that like to play with small dogs and vise versa. The free doggy bags available were nice. Nothing was damaged or broken either.

It will shock you with the beautiful grass and open fenced in areas. Separated by large dog side and small dog side. There are so many dogs that know each other and the community is very welcoming, human and dog alike. And they have free doggie poop bags and communal watering hole.

First dog park I took my puppy to. It's quite large, and all the other dogs have been friendly so far. My pup loves the amount of shade there, with plenty of trees to lie under. The park is very neat and clean and they supply tennis balls to throw. One of my favourites in the area

Great place to bring you dogs to let off some steam with other dogs. However, some people know there dogs are aggressive towards other animals. They bring them out there with the hope that they will be rehabilitated. Some work and some don't. I've seen my fair share of aggressive dogs starting fights.

It was a really nice area with two enclosuresone for small amd one for large dogs. The only bad thing was the mosquitos were bad and we had to leave after 5 minutes.

Great dog park for the community. Small and large dog areas. Large dog area gets more use and has some dry dirt spots but overall is perfect for the dogs to get exercise. Plenty of room to throw a ball or frisbee.

Two very nice fenced in grassy areas for small and large dogs. Plenty of trees and shade with water, benches, and waste bags.

Really cool spot to let your pups play.

This park is so much nicer than all the dog perks in the Murfreesboro/ smyrna area. Lots of trees for shade and bark chips on the ground help keep the grounds from getting muddy.

Prefer the one in the boro but this one’s good too! Just wish it didn’t have so much dirt.

Only downside is number of people that don't clean up after their dogs. Very nice area with lots of trees. Short mowed grass makes it easy to clean up. Minimal muddy spots.

This place is a lovely gem! I've gone earlier in the day when it's less crowded, and my pup enjoys it as she is learning to socialize. I also had a great time with other small pup parents. :)

I took my dog to Bark Springs Dog Park in Smyrna, Tennessee, and I was very disappointed. One side of the park was locked, so my dog only had half of the park to run around in. There were also a lot of flying insects, which made it difficult for my dog to enjoy himself. They need to get some people out here and fix that insect problem man. The other dogs at the park were also not well-behaved. They were barking and jumping all over the place, and my dog was getting scared. I had to leave early because I didn't want my dog to get hurt. I would not recommend this dog park to anyone. It is not safe or enjoyable for dogs. I hope the city of Smyrna will take steps to improve this park. It has the potential to be a great place for dogs to run and play, but right now it is not safe or enjoyable I drove quite a distance to experience this place and make my puppy happy but nah.

Very clean dog park with a replenishing water bowl for the pups. He had a grand time!

My dog loves going here and playing. The doggy parents are great at cleaning up after their dogs and watching them for signs of aggression. Beautiful park!

Three spacious fenced areas designated by weight and, frankly, much cleaner than I expected. We have recently added a puppy to our home and this will be a place we frequent. Dog-friendliness Great spaces for dogs large and small.

We went in the morning, and it was nice and empty. Clean, bags provided. Even a couple balls laying around to toss. Two areas for different sizes, clever doggy water fountains. Even a bench for the humans.

Absolutely amazing park and Halloween celebration will definitely be back
