Barnum Skate Park

We had a business meeting at the rec center, which was really spacious. What I actually liked was all the information on all the activities that take place during the month. I suppose I always thought the rec center was for children and young adults, and seniors. I'm definitely going to take in some activities.

It's a great park if the motorbikes would quit riding on the grass!!!!!

It's pretty nice for a new park, but definitely not anything to write home about. Pretty basic and it's only a 2 directional park so people are constantly waiting on each other, it limits your options a bit. Some of the banks are way too small and the one on the end is way too big to not have a ride away on the backside of it or at least a coping at the top. It's a good beginner park.

Cool little park to cruise through on my e scooter with my son. Great spot for the dog to run and play. Can be sketchy at night. Playground Small little playground. Restrooms Closed at the end of summer. Dog-friendliness Two park areas, one for calmer dogs and bigger own area for the ones that need to let loose. The park is a big open area as well. Picnic area They have covered areas up top with a couple bbq pits. Beautiful view of the city at night as the football stadium lights up the sky

The playground here is toddler friendly ☺️. My daughter really enjoyed the slides. You also get a nice view of the city.

Nice calm skatepark. Good for all skill levels, there's a little bit of everything except bowl.

This skatepark was just finished and is awesome. (July 2025) The transitions are mellow, the pavement is smooth and the ledges are a very approachable height. Jumping the ball or clearing the transition on the kicker takes a bit of speed so dropping in may not be enough. You may need to push or push on the quarter then do a rolling drop in. The circle rail is unique and cool but if you’re looking to learn rails, this isn’t the place. This park is very focused on mellow transition and learning ledge skating. Overall, this park is unique and fun. Credit to denver parks and rec for giving us a place to skate that is well crafted and thought out.

The recenter is old and the weight room is definitely old and small the basketball court is ok. Dog-friendliness There is plenty of room to play with your dogs

Had my taxes done there they are AARP and they know what they are doing!!!

I love this park. It has the absolute best view of downtown Denver, and has a ton of Space to do as you please, especially as a family In my opinion, it felt more communal prior to 6 years ago which is when the gentrification started to take over and change things/rules. Since then. Ive noticed that the gates to the circular parking lot gets closed off pretty randomly for no reason, and they took away more of the garbage can that used to be there (complete nonsense). Other than that, the park is still enjoyable and still feel like it's the best park in the Denver area. Gentrification and some of the new ways that the city operates the park is the only reason i gave a 4 star review.

Super sweet lil park. Plenty of room to use all features. Banks are nice 1/4 pipe is smooth. Don't know what to do with the ball but I'll find something. Nice and clean great shade. Excited to come back!!

There isn't much to this park but there also isn't anything wrong with it.
