Beautiful place to get the new experience if we go on Summer. It's greenery and will have good view but if you go in winter particularly during snow time.. You will get some scary experience nobody will be there... Mostly less than 10 people while I go. But while seeing the frozen Dam view is a different and amazing experience

What's nice except for everything was shut down for some reason or another. Lots of work going on down by the damn itself.

From all Ann arbors parks, this is my favorite one. It's a beautiful area and quite lovely during fall. There are some people doing their jogging. It's also peaceful, I didn't hear the roads that much.

A great local park with a ton to offer! Several parking areas with hiking trails, river & pond access (with a portage around the dam) + the usual benches & picnic tables. Great any time of year & popular for running & dag walking :)

One of my favorite places to hangout. The river is mighty and beautiful. The dam and the train tracks are impressive. Lots to explore with my doggy.

Beautiful dam. Thick lush trees. Hidden away from the bustling city and the university. I see lot of people fishing here.

Beautiful walk about to see the dam, you are able to walk across the Dam as well. Nice lil park with a pond next to The Dam. Beautiful and peaceful at the picnic tables where the ducks are in the photos. And there is a fire pit there as well.

This place was nothing short of amazing. It was my first time, and while I wasn't prepared for the hilly hike, I enjoyed it thoroughly. So many awesome things to see too! Huge variety of mushrooms, wooly aphids, and so many birds and critters! Hiked for 2 hours. Lovely.

I found this place on accident and I'm SO glad I did! It is beautiful, clean snd easy to navigate. The dam is very cool to see too. There is a unique climbing structure for kids, made of old tree trunks. My only complaint is that there aren't many trash cans. Hiking with a dog, this makes it I pleasant to carry their waste for the whole trail. I know nothing about this place. It's been under construction since I learned about it. But it lead me a little down the road to where I now drop in my kayak nearly weekly. This section of the huron river is fantastic. You can skip frogs in the pads and land bass no problem. Drop a treble and boom... Nice eatin sunfish of many variety. Down further past a few bridges there's quite a few smallmouth bass and some pike. Wonderful time every time. Even if you don't fish... The views are fantastic. All the turtles, egrets and herons... There's a swan family nested down at a bridge. We like to just anchor under bridge for a beer n bass catch every time we're out there lol just an inside thing. But even though my review isn't about Barton, it's what I went to first when planning to get on the water, but couldn't. So I thank Barton greatly for leading me to one of my favorite tracks of the huron river yet and I've done a lot of it. Have fun, y'all! Playground Maybe? Restrooms Maybe? Great place for hiking. Beginner trails for mountain biking. The river, the damn, the railroad tracks and the pond are beautiful.

Perfect place for a quick day hike! Very scenic and not too busy at all. Beautiful Fall colors were in full effect so it was a perfect little hike! Highly recommend.

Everyone I came across was polite and super friendly! Nothing but smiles, awesome views and clear serenity at the falls. Great fishing for the big and little.
