It's a way to get out of the city and noise. It's usually quiet and nobody there. It's were I go to think and remind myself of the beauty still left in this world!

The park itself is decent, a convenient place to stop for lunch. It's some of the humans that visit that prevents it from being real nice. FIRST, if you're going to feed wildlife, take the 32.5 seconds to look up what's good and bad to feed them. BREAD IS HARMFUL FOR DUCKS TO CONSUME! SECOND, they provide a trash barrel, no need to throw your trash all over the ground. Stop the ignorance people... THIRD, the dog park is literally right across the street, if you want to let ole' Fido off the leash, take him there.. And if you insist on brining him to a non-dog park, at least have the decency to pick up after him!

It's just a small park along the river in Manchester. Great if you just want to chill for a bit. I had to make a phone call so I stopped. Saw some pretty ducks swimming in the river. Playground No playground. Restrooms No restrooms. Dog-friendliness Not sure about dogs. It's small. Picnic area Just a couple benches to sit on.

A small neighborhood park with access to the Piscataquog River. The ๐Ÿฆ† ducks like to hang out here. Unfortunately, so do people who like to litter ๐Ÿšฏ and spray paint ๐ŸซŸ. , but I have seen much worse. It is showing some signs of wear but the lawns are mowed and there are trash ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ cans available. There is limited parking but easy access to the nearby neighborhood. A nice little park to relax, watch the ducks and with the water ๐Ÿ’ฆ level low due to recent drought ๐Ÿชพ, you can walk along part of the river's edge and explore. Playground Playground is unavailable. Restrooms There are no restrooms or porta potties available. Dog-friendliness I do not remember seeing any signs posted about dogs ๐Ÿ•. My guess would be that they must be leashed and cleaned up afterwards. Picnic area There are no picnic ๐Ÿงบ tables available. 0:29 0:28

Pretty spot to look out onto the river or do some light fishing, but there isn't much park, parking, or anywhere to really walk so prepare to 'park' yourself somewhere and sit! ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธIf you go from the parking lot to the right side where the stairs are there's a pretty long tree fallen that you can sit on and relax. The views are nice and if you're lucky you might even see some ducks! ๐Ÿฆ† While you're down there you *could* walk down the barrier towards the bridge for some more nice views and (probably) no people... But it's a tight squeeze down there, there are a few branches on the way, and you might find some people who are homeless (just judging by the pants and blanket I saw near some bushes up the hill by the bridge. It was pretty quiet when o was there and well worth the quick walk down there (see photos below of the bridge and red building).

Bass Island Park was very clean and a beautiful place to sit and have lunch. Benches that look over the water and plenty of ducks to watch. ๐Ÿฆ† โ€ฆ

Pros: The view Ducks and geese gather in the river and the park proper Beautiful trees winter or summer I proposed here (said yes) Cons: Limited parking (almost never full though) Typical litter but cleaner than most When the river rises the shore is eroded

It's not very big, but it's easy to get the place to yourself. There's a lovely spot to sit by the river and a couple benches. There are so many ducks! I love ducks so I go often. They'll come right up to you too.

I was looking for parks with the family that had a different setting than your usual park but it's definitely not kid friendly, to many homeless living in the area no offense Playground There's no playground, more of a walking park

Trash everywhere, homeless sleeping on benches and under bridge. Needles all over the ground. Don't bring your kids here.

Awesome little park to bring the kids to feed the ducks. Plenty of ducks to feed, fairly clean, and pretty quiet. Has a couple nice spots down on the river to sit and enjoy the scenery.
