Wow! By far the best dogpark!!! And I've been to many... from MN to Idaho, and all the way to Florida! The dogs had plenty to explore and water to play in. Fully fenced with a separate small dog area. Numerous trails. Many dog-friends to choose from! 👍👍👍 …

This park is one of our favorites, but today (3/1/26) the entire entryway was completely covered in ice both leading up to the entrance and all the way in. We only made it just over the first bridge by the entrance and had to collect our dogs. The ice is incredibly unsafe and untouched. There are no safe paths in or out. Whoever runs this park, please consider laying down sand or something dog friendly. Or bring an ice chopper and cut up a path so there is any sort of grip on the way in.

Just an amazing dog park. I take my dog almost daily. The water is a nice feature too as she loves to play in it. I would recommend this dog park if your dog listens and is good with your dogs.

Me and my dog love this place. Very large park with a lot of hiking trails and open areas for play and fetch. There’s a few large ponds for your dog to swim and get muddy in (allow your dog to be a dog). Wouldn’t recommend bringing a puppy or anxious dog here. Its pretty busy. Restrooms Port-a-potties in the entrance. Picnic area Lots of picnic tables.

Our favorite dogs park in the cities! Huge with lots of walking paths, varied landscape and multiple pods for dogs to swim in. It's a popular one that usually has many for your pup to play with. Plenty of stops along the way to dispose of poop bags. There is even a little free library in the big field area. In the winter I highly recommend crampons or some sort of footwear meant for ice. The high traffic makes it very slippery and it is quite hilly in places. Restrooms there are porta potty's in the parking lot

Great off leash area. Smaller area for small or shy dogs. Would not suggest for a dog doesn't respond to name, it's a large place to lose your pup.

Yesterday, I strolled through the large and well-attended Battle Creek Dog Park. I was meeting my friends (and their dogs) there, and to enjoy some exercise outside. NOTE: There are TWO parking lots to the Dog Park, one on Upper Afton and one on Lower Afton. Mistakenly, I waited for my friends in the wrong parking lot! The dog park is extremely large and sprawling. It is heavily wooded, with lots of scenic walking trails throughout. There are also extensive ponds and water areas, all frozen right now, of course. It is one of the nicest dog parks in the region, according to my friends - and I can understand why! It was quite heavily attended, with literally 100's of dogs and owners rambling through the park. There were ample rest areas for humans and dogs, lots of trash containers, it was well-fenced and secure. Several areas were centrally located to allow people to hang out together, and watch their dogs frolic. I also saw several dog dishes placed, with fresh water provided by people who packed it in. The dog park was extremely clean and well maintained. I was super impressed with the scenic nature and the overall size of the park! It is part of the Battle Creek Regional park, and hiking trails ajoin the parking lots with the rest of the park. In the past I have visited 3 or 4 other dog parks with my friends, and this one impressed me the most with its overall size, cleanliness, and rolling wooded and water-filled environment. Fun exercise for both humans AND dogs!

Easily the best dog park in the metro area. Very spacious, plenty of trails winding through the woods. My dog can be a little antsy in large crowds and it's very easy to stay away from those if you come at the right time. No matter where I've lived around the TC, this is always the dog park I keep coming back to.

We went based on a recommendation from another dog owner at another dog park in St. Paul. We were pleasantly surprised by how this well park is maintained. There are certainly dedicated volunteers keeping up the park with disposal bags, garbage bins. There were signs/maps in the park that let you know where in the park you were at and memorials to those who made contributions to the park. This is a perfect spot to walk with a dog or just sit and enjoy nature. When we visited we found that the other dog owners were very respectful. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

This is one of the nicest dog parks that I've been to in Minnesota. Large open areas + well-kept trails inside gated area. Highly recommend!
