Great trail for hiking with kids. My 4 year old hiked up to the Camp Big Springs campground. It does get a little steep at times, but there is plenty of shade. We enjoyed our picnic on the platforms before returning. Restrooms They have running water but have pit toilets. Picnic area The pavilions must be reserved from provo city parks and recreation.

Love this place. Incredibly peaceful camping sites, lots of manicured spots as well as more natural spots to bring your family. Lovely!!

Beautiful area. Great place to take pics. There's parking in multiple spots as you make your way further up into the park. Some nice green areas you can chill or do some activities on. There's also a path that follows along a river.

This is one of the most beautiful trails in the provo canyon area! The big Springs loop is a 3.8 mile loop with beautiful views and lots of trees. A beautiful stream runs through the area, with great places to stop and relax. Great year round for hiking, sledding, and nature walks. Trail is well defined, great for families or solo hikes. Connects to a longer 11 mile hike up to the peak above it for the more adventurous.

Big Springs Park is a quiet neighborhood park that’s easy to enjoy. I’ve spent time here walking and relaxing, and it always feels peaceful. The park is clean, well maintained, and not overly crowded, which makes it a nice place to unwind. It’s not flashy, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a simple, well-kept space that serves its purpose well. A good spot if you want a low-key outdoor break close to home.

We come here at least once or twice a year with a bunch of friends and family. It’s absolutely beautiful coming up in the evening when the weather is nice and cool. Perfect place to have a nice barbecue or some burgers and play some ball games with the kids. Many parking spots available. Restrooms are not the best smelling, but they are better than nothing when you have to go. Haha

Beautiful place trail nearby the park. There are bathrooms , plenty of parking. The trail is easy to find next to the park. Lots of families, couples and teenagers. Dogs on and off leash.

Big springs trail is hands down one of my favorite trails to walk. It’s easy enough for kids and a jogging stroller. Some parts can be tricky if you’re the only adult with small kids and a stroller. But everyone is very friendly. The most recent hike we did, we found some wild Saskatoon berries! We saw horses, mountain bikers, and lots of young families and dogs. We found so many wild flowers on the hike too. I prefer to do this hike in the autumn to see the beautiful foliage. But it’s beautiful year round.

Absolutely a hidden gem. Beautiful park with some amenities and picnic tables. Toilets closed in winter. We enjoyed the trails.
