Beautiful Park to come and relax! Walk through the garden, get lost in the mini waterfall, gaze at the fountains, bring food to eat at the park or take a walk on the trail.

It's difficult to keep a review for this Brandywine Festival of the Arts short and sweet. After attending, I can attest to how this event and outdoor space work well for individuals with health limitations or disabilities like myself. A couple of my friends shared with me over the years how much they enjoyed the Brandywine Festival of the Arts, and I could see why! Having it in Brandywine Park was spacious and convenient enough of a location to access. We came from Newark, and moments after exiting off of 95, we found parking. We didn't take a shuttle because it was close enough to walk past the school Warner, down the cobblestone street (which I love and remember from childhood), and into the park for the festival. You pay a $5 entry fee and start roaming about discovering the sights, sounds, and smells of food from over a dozen vendors. Keeping the original spirit of the art fair from many years ago, the Brandywine Festival of the Arts still has live music, local food vendors, and children’s activities along with the local artisans. This festival was pet friendly, and people respected the suggestion to only bring dogs who can handle being around a lot of people. The vendor tents were all set up along flat grounds, which made an easier walk. I saw several people in wheelchairs, families with strollers—and the only time it felt like a struggle was exiting the event and going uphill to the street where we parked. Those cobblestone streets don't feel so nice on the joints when it's steep! I suggest moving over to the green space to walk up the lawn if you find yourself in that position. All in all, I had a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed meeting some really creative souls while buying handcrafted gifts! Restrooms Be prepared for porta potties unless you can use the bathroom before leaving home. I heard a few people say that they weren't bad to use. I'm a little too fussy in circumstances like that so I can't give an opinion since I'd never use it. 0:23

Very nice little park next to the river. Their is a walking or running right next to the river. They have benches you can sit on and enjoy the scene. If you bring some old bread you can feed the geese and ducks.

A great trip for just about anyone. The beautiful views along the walking path, as well as the bike path. There are awesome cardio stations spread out along the paths. There are tables there for a nice picnic for the kids or to take out a date. 0:22 0:29 0:29 0:08

This is a well maintained, peaceful and beautiful park. Great for picnic, photography, jogging, running, dog walking etc.. The large and amazing place has got a nice feel, it’s so refreshing to walk around here. Spring has made the park even more beautiful 🤩. The cherry blossom was awesome as well. Generous amount of parking lots.

Brandywine Park is a beautiful urban oasis with scenic walking and biking trails, lush gardens, and historic charm. The Jasper Crane Rose Garden and cherry blossoms are stunning in spring, and the Brandywine Zoo is perfect for kids. There’s plenty of open space for picnics, and the historic bandstand hosts free summer concerts. The park is well-maintained, peaceful, and ideal for families, joggers, or anyone wanting to enjoy nature in the city.

We had our 2year anniversary photos taken here and it was BEAUTIFUL! The cherry blossoms were blooming, the park was HUGE and is an amazing place if you are looking for some beautiful scenery. There's also some pretty good food places within walking distance/short drive and street parking after 6pm is free in the area! Dog-friendliness Seemed like a huge park full of bike/walking paths.

A pleasant, idyllic park, very much of a piece with this sleepy and serene city. There are beautiful, poetic views of the Brandywine River, which looks solemn and melancholic in winter, but looks so beautiful and rapturous in springtime, surrounded by verdure and explosions and profusions of flowers. If you are in the region, and you have time, I highly recommend checking out the zoo, which is close by and a pleasant excursion on a sunny morning.

Awesome place for family, friends, and fishing!!! (Not sure if that last one is allowed) Today, I walked over 3 miles on the trails and enjoyed every bit. There is plenty of space for pets, lots of space and equipment for exercising, playgrounds for children, and benches for scenery viewing.

Pretty man-made waterfall at this park with two trails on either side of the river to walk along. During November the leaves were beautiful especially with the bridges. There are a few benches around and some picnic tables near the parking lot. The waterfall is about a 20 minute walk down the river from the parking lot. I'd like to check out the rose garden in the spring when they are in bloom! Restrooms No restrooms here that I could see. Dog-friendliness Great place to bring a dog for a walk. Picnic area Lots of picnic tables and benches. Kid-friendliness Good for family 0:03

I walked around this beautiful little park a couple of times this past weekend while visiting the area. This park is well maintained, and the scenery here is absolutely stunning. There is also a cute little zoo that is great for little kids. The one thing I found a little odd was that the park had no restrooms around the perimeter. The only restrooms are in the zoo. This park is very quiet, and in the opinion of this New Yorker, I found it safe. I really enjoyed my walks, and this park is definitely worth checking out, whether you're a resident or visitor, like myself. Restrooms There are no restrooms.

I haven't been here in years. They really built it up and definitely more to see. Before it was drab and boring, now it's beautiful Playground Nearby and expansive Restrooms Yes, there's rest rooms for everyone Dog-friendliness Not sure. Picnic area There's places you can sit down to eat but not a picnic area

I took a very nice walk in the area. The scenery was very beautiful. There were many other people walking or running. Many picnic tables for people to enjoy. Walked over a 200 foot long suspension bridge that was built in 1909 and designed to carry foot traffic. They are called a swinging bridge. The rivited truss and towers are iriginal, making it historically significant. Dog-friendliness Appeared to be dog friendly. 0:29

This is a beautiful park during all times of the year! There is a paved path where you can walk through the whole park on both sides of the river. There are picnic tables and benches throughout the park. There are various exercise stations. There is a sit-up station and a pull up station with three different heights of pull up bars. There is also a little Zoo but they don't have very many animals. A great place to go for a walk if you live in the city!

Love this place. Everyone does. very nice and serene. quiet and a great place to bring the kids or dogs to walk, play, ride bikes or just sit on the rocks by the water and just read. It has a lot of shade and plenty of parking and conveniently right next to the Brandywine Zoo

One of our new favorite places. So many wonderful things to see... bridges, canals, rose gardens, fountains. The Swinging Bridge, rhe Van Buren Bridge, and the Jasper Crane Rose Garden are all part of this wonderful park. I have done separate reviews and photo groups on those.
