Broemmelsiek Park Off-Leash Dog Area

Our dog loves it here! Very well laid out and maintained, St. Charles County knows how to make a dog park. For the most part, the dogs are great, every once in awhile, you’ll get that aggressive dog. One time a dog snapped and my wife and got her thigh. The owner said, “Oh, don’t worry, he’s harmless.” The dog owners need to realize when there dog is being an a-hole.

This off leash park is on our top list! Not only does it have an awesome pond for the dogs to jump in and swim, the dry area for the dogs to run around is huge! There are benches scattered all over. There is a covered area with more benches, and human restrooms right next to the park. Doggy water station and waste station on site. It's great. Bring your pup, floating toy and a picnic basket, and you are set.

Really nice park! Brought our 6 month old husky there and he loved chasing the other dogs into the huge lake. Wasn't too sure about the water at first, but after seeing the other dogs play in it, he had the time of his life! I have elder beagles who enjoyed the shade from the trees, and they had LOTS of room to walk around. Probably my favorite dog park! And the best part is that there's no membership needed, it's completely free.

This a peaceful and very chill place for large and extra large dogs. With a very large fenced roaming area, all the owners keep a watchful eye and are always engaged, making sure all dogs are comfortable and that no fights break out. I feel very at ease here with my very shy 110 lb. German Shepard/Great Dane mix; Chaos my dog loves it when I say: Let's go to the Water Dog Park! He heads straight for the car and waits somewhat patiently for me to open the car door. He loves the pond with aeration fountain and easily spends 3 hours here dog paddling and playing with new friends. If your puppy friend needs socialization, start here. Afterwards, a long nap is always required!.

...and nobody felt the need to post that the lake has been drained? Bought our Lab from Sorenson Kennels almost 2 years ago, then moved from the area. This park was awesome, but now just an open field. Disappointing.

Beautiful park! My dogs love playing in the pond and running around off leash! Google will always say they're open, so make sure to check their actual website to make sure they're open before going.

Highly recommend this dog park to anyone in the area!!! Plenty of space for the dogs to play! Big empty space for Frisbee/ball throwing towards the back of the park, a pond that is accessible for the dogs and humans on all sides. A water spigot with a short hose so you can wash your pupper off or pour some water into a bowl. Plenty of walking paths outside the dog park area aswell. Well mowed grass inside and outside the park ! If I could give it more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

Without a doubt the BEST dog park in the area! It's free and absolutely massive. The grounds are well taken care of and the lake is beautiful - there's also a dock to practice dock diving! We've never had a negative experience with anyone else's dogs either. Owner always seem to be attentive and mindful of how their dogs are behaving. The area surrounding the lake is a combination of pebbles and then a very large grassy area for the dogs to play in. They replant the grass as needed and just re-seeded earlier this year towards the front of the park. The lake is also clean and free from any weird algae or other growths. There are always tons of tennis balls and lots of dogs there! I'd recommend this park even if you don't have a dog because it's such a blast watching everyone else's pups run around and play in the water. Just make sure you wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting wet/messy, because there are A LOT of wet (and happy) dogs here. Be ready to book a bath afterwards or visit a self-service dog wash to clean up your pup/s. :) Dog-friendliness It's a dog park - I don't think it could be more dog-friendly if it tried. It's perfect!

This off leash dog park Is amazing! 5 acre well kept land, pond and a dock for our two energetic husky pups. Plenty of space to sit, shelter space plus doggie bags scattered around the area. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a space to let your puppies run free! Also a great excuse for dog lovers to be social!
