Brown Memorial Dog Park

Nice park, mostly well maintained. Bring your own doggy bags, as they're out. Vandals broke the latch on 1st gate of the small dog area. But I felt relatively safe and my dog throughly enjoyed it

Overall nice area. Two covered picnic tables and a place to fill water bowls. Not muddy, which is good. Could use more shade so come early or late.

Wonderful dog park. Not too crowded. Not crowded at all actually. Only saw two other dogs. They have doggy bags for poop and plenty of water all over for your dog. Also plenty of seating if you get tired. Huge sign at the front telling you all the (valid) reasons you should not have your small children here. My dogs loved it but stayed next to us most of the time due to the fact that there is only shade near (most) seating. Close to I-10, so as a regular traveler I will be back!

It's a great big fenced field with lots of good grass, some benches, and some roofed table areas. There's a smaller gated-off section for small dogs. There is also a little hose to give your dog a drink or hose them off if they're dirty. Love this place.

Wonderful dog park. We’re traveling with 2 dogs saw the dog park from highway. Totally appreciate it . Trying to Figure out there out of doggie bags in all the containers who to contact. We have are own and respect dog parks. Thanks for the great dog park ❤️❤️☀️☀️

Currently Lafayette's only off leash dog area. It's just a big fenced area with few extras (kiddie pool for cooling off, benches for sitting) There are usually plenty of dogs for your pup to interact with. Bring your own bags because the bag dispenser is always empty. There are a few maintenance issues as well but the dogs dont mind! (Nothing hazardous)

Huge dog park with lots of room. I was before noon time there and no other dogs have been there.. could use all the space alone with my 3 fure babies. Can not tell how crowded it gets since I just traveled along. It's close to the Interstate.

Wonderful location right off Louisiana Avenue, the park is very well maintained and the field for the dogs to run in is the largest in lafayette I think. Great place if you are looking for a nice park in the lafayette area . The actual dog park is towards the back, if you get on the gravel road to the left of the entrance and follow it to the back of the park , and park anywhere around the walking path entrance.

Chiko approves! The park is well maintained and clean (hardly any dog poop found). There are two gated enclosures, but the smaller one (guessing for small dogs - no sign) is really tiny. We went during the middle of the day so it was empty and Chiko was able to run around freely in the much bigger enclosure. There was even a kiddy dog pool! Looking forward to our next trip out here!
