Lived in the quarter for 6 years. This was my dogs favorite park. between 2024/2025 it just turned into a very racist park. racist comments, energy, and mean older cliques that spew out hatred towards to brown/black communities. this is new orleans…. in 2025. yes i’m a bit suprised. it has made me not want to attend park anymore to protect my peace. i go sometimes but it’s become one big mean place to be.

Decent playground, fenced, partly shaded, with multiple slides and climbing structures, no swings though. The reason for the 2 stars is that it has a very dangerous gap opening on the tallest part of the tallest structure where the climbing wall is. There was this terrible incident today when a little boy was just trying to use the slide and he fell on the gap (at more than 5ft high) right on his head. We were all so scared and all the parents were guarding that gap especially afterwards to make sure no other kid fell again, but a children's playground shouldn't be a place so dangerous to constantly fear for your kid's wellbeing. (If the little boy's parents happen to read this, I pray that he's OK and I have the whole incident recorded because I was taking a video of my daughter using that slide at the time, in case you need it to describe what happened to the doctor, any claims etc.)

We really like the Cabrini Playground and used to bring our small dog here quite often. Beautiful live oak and crepe myrtle trees provide a lot of shade. The park is fenced, has a covered area, play area and a soccer field. The play area has a padded surface, climbing fixtures and more. A Nice playground and dog park. 0:15

My wife and I needed a place to sit and eat this mind blowing thing called a muffaletta. We found this spot and while it was odd seeing two full grown adults eating at a lil kid table in play set...the ground keeper was an extraordinary fellow and did a great job keeping the area clean.

Visited while staying in the French Quarter, parking was easy, equipment is in good condition, it doesn’t appear to be frequented by children in the area, we went on weekend morning around 10AM and no one was there. Multiple people came to walk and play with their dogs unleashed and did not pick up after their dogs despite multiple signs that clearly said dogs must remain on leash and you are expected to clean up after your pet. I will avoid this park if visiting with small children.

A must for visiting kids who need to stretch their legs in a safe and family (and dog) friendly space. Just be sure to take a potty break before you arrive as there are no nearby public bathrooms.

It is nice, clean and love the playground equipments. The whole place are too quiet and nobody but just 3 of us.

Love talking my pup here for walkies. Well maintained. People are very friendly and pick up after their pooches. The 8-6 hours are kind of limiting with my work schedule. But always a go to when I can

Park is nice but not inside what seems to be a dog park.

This playground is a great option for kids aged 2-5 years old. It has a huge play area with plenty of space for them to run around and play. There are 3-4 different slides, a climbing structure. The kids had a lot of fun playing here. However, I would have liked to see some benches or seating areas for parents. It was a bit difficult to stand and watch the kids play for long periods of time. Overall, I would give this playground 4 out of 5 stars.
