Cahaba Dog Park

Very nice local place to take your pets to play, and also a good spot to meet people in your area and share your stories about your furry friends! The only negative review I have for this spot is that it is very dusty and muddy. So before you go, be sure to take a towel to clean your dog up a bit before the ride home.

Nice little park for the dog, but no water spigot and a big mud puddle in the middle were a little annoying. Nice hilly area, great terrain, and users are very friendly. Overall great park.

Great area for walking on concrete. The dog park is spacious. And no issues with parking. Dog-friendliness Fenced in dog-park that doesn’t seem to be overly crowded.

Two areas. One for 25 pounds and under and the other for 25 pounds and over. Has plenty of toys for the pups to play with. CLEAN, and in a nice neighborhood! Has bottle water for the dogs when they work up a nice sweat.

My dogs enjoyed coming here. Nicely shaded park with balls and frisbees. Will come again. Didn't see other large dogs, but there was a group of 5 older women on the little dog park side with their small dogs; it was cute. 🥰 …

Don't bother coming here. The place looks trashy and poorly kept up for starters, and the moment we parked an aggressive dog bolted to the gate to guard it against us coming in, and was actively growling at our friendly 30 lb dog. The aggressive dog's owner made no move whatsoever to contain it, so pet owners and parents beware of aggressive dogs and negligent owners here. Dog-friendliness AGGRESSIVE DOGS

This dog park is like an after thought of the park. It’s on a corner of the actual park and usually empty unless it’s a busy weekend. Big park has plenty of room for dogs to run with lots of shady trees. On the bottom of this area is a little creek. The small dog park is on the other side so both sizes dogs can see each other. I think the small ones could have more room but they have a better grass area to play than the big park. No running water

Brought my dog to the dog park and it was locked. Nothing on the web site saying it was gonna be closed today..Sept 1. I was hoping to let my dog run and play but I guess that's not happening. It will be a while before I come back. I'll drive 20 miles to the next dog park.

The dog park is in a nice, safe neighborhood with a welcoming vibe. It’s a bit on the smaller side, but it’s well-maintained and has everything you need — a dog water fountain, plenty of shade, and friendly pups to play with. Parking can be a little tight, but it’s only a short walk to the park, which actually makes for a nice warm-up. -1 star for size, but overall a great spot to bring your furry friend!

I just wish a few spots didn't hold water and are therefore always muddy. I love dogs having fun but my white dog just HAS to roll in the mud asap.

Great place to bring our dogs to stretch legs out since we live in an apartment. It's usually pretty muddy but the dogs love that 🤣 MOST people are friendly that we have come in contact with. Except the guy with his $2500 designer breed mutt that quickly ran off because we have a (super friendly) pitbull. …

Great park with separate areas for small and large dogs and double gates. Only issue is if someone brings an aggressive dog and that's their fault, not the dog park.

This is a wonderful place for your pets! There is a large and small area for the dogs. The spaces are large so there is ample space for running and playing. There are picnic tables outside of the dog area as well as a neat creek. The only con is when it rains, the large dog area has a ton of puddles that stand for about a day so take towels and be prepared for your dog to get filthy if it has rained in the last day.

Good size dog park with two areas based on size of dog. We visited in January and the ground was pretty bare and dirty. Look forward to seeing it when the season turns. Area outside of dog park is well maintained and many walking paths. Recommend checking it out.

Water is not provided. Its a pretty basic off leash park. There is some kind of stream behind the fenced area that dogs seemed to be enjoying.

Very clean Park. People follow the rules Dog-friendliness All dogs are very well behaved and any Outsiders that come in for the first time are treated well. Picnic area Plenty of comfortable Chairs to use while your dog has fun

Our first visit. The park was clean, no ‘land mines’. Easy to locate using Google Maps. Nice big benches to sit on. Doggie bags available. Only draw back is no water. But past patrons kindly left jugs full. Nice to have a separate area for small dogs. It’s an hour away from home, but it’s nice to give my boy a place to have fun in when we come shopping. Sam’s Club is only 5 minutes away. Will post dome photos next visit.

This was my place for my new 22 pound pooch. THERE IS A BAD WOMAN THERE WHO ACTS LIKE a Karen. She came and kicked me and my 70 year old father and my 22 pound pooch out' im not sure why' but she does not need to be there period. What's funny is I talked to a few people and they have the same problem with her she is disrespectful and rude. Had I not been in Trussville it would of went different. She's the worse I pray this is seen and they get rid of her because that's just uncalled for and rude for no reason. Pluss she was peaking inside my car before she came in the gate. She's not right. Probably a sad life because no husband' the dogs don't even like her and that says alot. She needs something better to do. I will be back and I will take my complaints further. A dog park does not need that type of person around period. Look out for her and her gold truck' . She will pick on everyone because she has nothing better to do and no better job. She seems lonely and hateful because she is lonely. I have talked to the city hall of Trussville about her and I'm taking further steps. This won't be tolerated by the public or the city. Wich she already has several complaints on her from people she did the as me. Be careful If yiu go there. There is a up tight Karen that will give you hell for no reason. Be prepared and carefull.
