Nice open green space that’s not very crowded. It’s clean and you will find parking most likely. Doesn’t seem like the grass is maintained as often as it should be.

Go there every day - it's a nice park with a large grassy field, a small children's play area, and nice walking paths and benches for sitting. Friendly dogs (and people) frequent the park, so it's probably not a perfect place if you have a strong fear of dogs. The biggest downside is that bicyclists cut through the park to get to the train station; while most are careful, they are a hazard and I have heard of a few collisions (dangerous to both pedestrians and bicyclists).

It's a perfect 1/4 mile around so it's great for tracking my morning runs. If you have or like dogs this is a very popular park for people to take their dogs to. Every morning there are around 10 dogs with their owners hanging out pooping and picking up poop. Conveniently located near caltrain, light rail, whole foods, and some cafes/ restaurants. There is a playground and half court basketball court there as well.

This park is simply fantastic. Sometimes you get the annoying people with even more annoying chihuahuas, who seem to think is okay to just let them bark and bark and bark, which it's NOT! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! But I digress; the area is really nice and most people are very friendly around here and more than willing to help you out in a time of need. So come and down and bring some ice cream. Maybe some pie, too :)

Very good n calm place for people from all age groups. Basket ball court to practice. Kids play area swings and slide are really cool. Walking path round the park for old people. And central play area garden for playing all games even with pets.

A small park and playground, usually has some kids playing but isn't overcrowded, right next to a large grass field with people resting or having picnics. A relatively safe area but connects to the caltrain station via tunnel on the other side of the amtrak, which is a largely deserted industrial type area that seems distinctly less safe. Playground Medium sized playground with generic slides etc, surrounded by a gate to keep kids in and well away from the main road. Dog-friendliness Frequently visited by dog walkers (as a profession) as well as individuals walking their doggos. Kids can be kept safe by the gate / small fence surrounding the playground Picnic area A large field generally with at least a half dozen people resting on it and a basketball court. Overall a nice atmosphere

This a good Park to bring your kids. It is clean, dog-friendly, it has a gated playground for kids, it has two playground structures depending on the age of the child. The only thing is that there are no public restrooms and not a lot of parking spaces available. Place were you can walk or run.

Nice park, dog friendly, has a single basketball court and steel wedges on the cement seating areas to keep skate boarders from grinding there trucks on the corners. There’s a great play area with at least 6 slides for children and 4 swings “2 for older kids and 2 for the smallest of children. There is also a really big field to fly kites, have a picnic or play with mans best friend C; The park is well kept and clean.

Nice park with walking track, half Outdoor basketball court ( broke at time of writing this review ) and large (mostly maintain) grass. Good for recreational activities. You can find people all the time, which is good thing!

The playground is very nice for both smaller and bigger kids. But I came with my 4 yr old and my 5 month old who was in our stroller and there is no place for it. There is hardly any space to put the stroller. The one place to enter at that would fit the stroller where the benches & shade are, the gate is locked shut with a chain. And it's hard to push the stroller to where the benches & shade are since there is tanbark and very little to no concrete to push the stroller on. I don't know. Good playground, could use some serious improvements for the overall enjoyment.

Very comfortable ambiance. Everyone that was there when we were there was super nice. There was super trustworthy friendly dogs and people flying kites 🪁. We were very comfortable to hang out there. 🙂 there was a store down the street where we got snacks and drinks, the employee’s were very friendly too. …

With lots of green space, good sized playground area, and a half court basketball setup it's the only one of its kind in the area. It would be nice to see a couple of picnic areas with BBQ spits and calisthenic/workout stations situated around the huge grassy area. I'm guessing it's designed that way to ward off the growing unsheltered population from running it down. Lots of dog owners in the area so it's a great spot to bring you 4-legged friend. Some are off leash because the lawn is so huge(most are very well trained, but it's not something I support for safety reasons). No restrooms or dedicated parking lot. Overall nice open park to spend a short time at and walking distance to many of the surrounding downtown area and The Alameda restaurants.

Cahill Park is dominated by a huge field, but it's on a slope and the soil is poor so it's not suitable for sports. It's only use is as a dog run, but it's not a dog park and dogs are legally supposed to stay on leash at all times. The playground is nice but there are no restrooms, and not even a drinking fountain. When the playground was being planned many residents demanded that there are no bathroom, because they didn't want "that element" hanging around. If you live right next to it it's a nice place to take your kids, walk your dog or shoot a few hoops at the single half-court. But otherwise it's a lot of wasted space.

Plenty of grass area around with a decent playground size, one for small children and one for bigger children. As others have noted, grass and park maintence needs more upkeep albeit the park remains fairly clean, and parking may be tough as this is tucked in a neighborhood with on street parking.

I wish it was a bit bigger and a few more things to do, but it's a cute neighborhood park. The playground is decent, but it could use more shades. The sun makes it hard to use during the middle of the day especially during summer months.

Great little neighborhood park. It's usually well maintained and green year round. Especially when you want to go for a short run or bring the kids out, this place is perfect. It gets busy though sometimes before sunset and on the weekends. Safe location.

Some pics and videos over the years. My family and I often visit. There is a half basketball court. The park is very dog friendly. Playground The playground is split into an area for older kids and one for younger ones with a swing set in between the two sections. The whole playground is gated. Restrooms No restrooms. Dog-friendliness Even though this is not technically a dog park, lots of people think it is because there are so many friendly dogs that visit daily. The park is very dog friendly. Picnic area No picnic tables, but lots of grass to set out a picnic blanket. 0:08 0:15
