We loved the amount of space the dogs get. It was also nice to see that they had different areas for the different sized dogs. The only issue we had was the puddles of mud scattered around. But, that's not stopping us from going back there. My Weim loved it.

Lots of friendly dogs to play with, and their owners were nice. My dogs had a great time! The water feature consists of kiddie pools, and of course the area around it is muddy. We'll be back!

I loved this dog park! It was decent size and had poop bags, water hoses, equipment for dogs to play on, and locals have left a pool and dog bowls out for ur fur baby. Theres divided sides for large and smaller dogs. I was traveling and came back three times during our visit. The locals were super friendly too!

My dogs had such a blast here. There's a small "kiddie" pool for them to play in when it's hot and water to fill up the many bowls around the park. We will definitely be going back

I love the fact that it's clean and every time we go all of the pups seem to be well behaved. The only drawback is that the grass it's not cut as often as it should be and really small dogs seem to almost get lost in the grass. We have went when the grass was short and had no problems.

The grounds leave something to be desired. Plenty of opportunities for pup fun, not as many for owner comfort (i.e. shade & seating). That being said, grab a snowball or slushy on your way to the park & your pups will have fun while you hang out with other super nice folks.

Great place to let your dog run and play. Has two areas, one for big dogs, and the other for small and older dogs. People were friendly and cleaned up as much as they could after dog mess (you know what I mean!). I wish there were more dog parks like this one.

Small dog park, not much grass, lots of dirt which is muddy for a couple days after a soaking rain. On the plus side, the people I've met there are nice, and I haven't personally seen any serious incidents between dogs (or their owners). I live on the other side of Slidell, and usually opt to drive to Mandeville to the dog park at Pelican Park. That one is FAR superior.

They had the water shut off... And the water available was warm and gross, my dogs weren't even interested in there. My Shepard is getting older and having some joint issues and there are a lot of rocks in the play area which is hard on her so she was not interested or impressed with this park.

Love it here. There are two parts to this park, one for little guys and one for bigger dogs. Our little one went in with the big dogs and there were no problems. They have two pools, 3 watering stations with bowls (that can be moved at will) and drinking fountain for us. There are plenty of agility objects for them. Benches and tables for us. Shady and sunny spots, grass and sand areas. Plenty of baggy/trash stations. this is the nicest doggie park I've been to. If you felt my review and pictures were helpful to you, please don't forget to click the thumbs up icon. Thank you!

One of the best city run dog parks I've been to anywhere. Spacious on both the small and large dog sides. Plenty of shade and seating for dog owners.

Just want to say thanks to the locals that keep this place up. I know the majority of dog parks are kept up by patrons. We are traveling through, I have a high energy social Weimaraner mix and a very unsocial husky mix. We were able to get the park to ourselves (for the Husky) for 15 minutes mid week after lunch which is what we needed as the Weim was loosing her sh!t and our husky can’t be nice. We’re not usually dog park people (because our husky is an a$$) and I usually can find a place to play chuck it off leash with my Weim while the husky stays at the camper but was having difficulties where we have the RV. The park was clean and had a lot of fun stuff. Thanks to the locals that keep it up.

Large dog park for both little and large dogs. There is a side for each. There's a hose to rinse your pup before you leave and a pool if your dog is a swimmer (though the larger one had a hole in it). And for the large dogs, there's some agility equipment. The seating leaves something to be desired, but at least they have some. My biggest issue was that the grass was getting a little high (it was about neck high for my little guy). It made it difficult for my old fella to move around and made it a little difficult to see him. But we'll be back.

Great dog park for the big dogs! Variety of things to do... Small dog park on the other hand... zero for the dogs to do. Small dogs like to have fun to. Wish they would have at least split the equipment evenly. I don't even see any big dogs using the equipment. Really sad to see that. In Florida we loved going to the dog park. The photo with two dogs is the park in Florida the photo of the one is the Slidell Big dog part side on the day it opened. We don't usually go in there because there is to much going on. I hope this changes soon... Maybe they can try to get some more donations or even volunteers to build a few things for the other side?

There are two areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas are large, fenced in with lots of room to run and play. There is a water source for the dogs as well.

I love this park! My dog is a medium sized dog. He has been seriously injured on the Big dog side of the park. I bring him on the small dog side and he fits right in. We have a play group 3x's a week with 2 smaller dogs. They have a blast. We all know when to control our dogs. People should never bring toddlers or infants as they may get injured. We leave when small children come for their protection. I am a volunteer at The Animal Assistance League of Slidell. My dog was a test dog for the more aggressive dogs because he wouldn't react. Some people need to correct their dogs or leave.

WARNING: If you see a man with three pitbulls, maybe consider coming back another time. He might convince you that he's got decent control over them, and he sort of does, but not all of the time. It's just simply too much dog for one person to handle, not to mention having more than two dogs per handler is against the rules and irresponsible. All three of his dogs ganged up on my dog over a week ago. My dog is still healing and having nightmares. Also, be careful with the German Shepherds. There's at least two there (separate handlers) that don't play real nicely. Otherwise, all of the other dogs we've met there have been great. My dogs have had mostly great experiences at this dog park. My dogs loved how large both sides of the dog park were. It gets muddy, so just be mindful. We came here a few times per week to play a good game of fetch. It was great while we were in town.

Great dog park. The amounts of space and separated areas for big and small dogs is very thoughtful. I picked up doggie doo from neglectful owners while we enjoyed the park all to ourselves. We'll make another go at the obstacle course next time. 5 STARS!

One of our favorite dog parks! :) We’ve been to slidell twice now for work and both times we’ve spent a lot of time playing at this park. The location is great, it’s quiet and there is pretty scenery around. We went mostly earlier in the day so there weren’t too many dogs there. The fenced in area is huge! They have two sides too, one for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. My dog has never tried any agility courses before but here she jumped right on them and had so much fun! There is a kitty pool next to the water fountain so it’s okay if you forget to bring water! My heart sank on the way out when I saw the dog memorial💔 that is so thoughtful, I’ve never seen one before at a dog park!
