Recently added a new member to our family 3 months ago. Her name is Bella, she was just over 3 months old and is a Doberman Pincher. We take her to the Carnegie dog park and she loves it. She loves playing and running with the other dogs. The park is clean, beautiful, and safe. 0:28

Great dog park! It is a combination of pebbles and grass so it is not muddy. There is a functional water fountain, picnic tables, and agility equipment. There is a small dog area to the left of the main dog park.

Overall, this is a fine dog park. It’s closest to my house so it’s convenient. I like that it’s gravel and only some grass which is a better option for wet days. There’s plenty of toys for the dogs as well as water dishes. I do notice that some owners here are not very attentive. I’ve experienced a couple instances where a dog got too aggressive and the owner did nothing or didn’t see. Additionally, there are a lot of owners who do not clean up after their dog. I also wish the park was lit for evenings in the winter but it’s pitch black.

Very nice park, there is a little dog park (30 lb and under) and a big dog park (30 lb and over). I will say there is more toys and play structures in the big dog one while the little dog one has a big grassy area. I like both and my dog who is 30 lb also doesn't mind either, we mostly go to the bigger one though! Overall very nice, will be coming back!

Great friendly park for both big and little dogs. Water is available with lots of bowls. Almost everyone is friendly and respectful.

Dog park is very nice now that it's renovated. We went there on New Years Day & it was muddy in the middle of the space, but that's to be expected in winter. The gravel could use a bit of TLC, but it was otherwise a great place for my dog to run.

There are at least 8 burned out street lights in the park... The dog park used to be gravel now it's dirt with some rocks. The dog park hardly closes at seven. The skate park has Flood Lights til 10 pm year round. ****Update ***** They replaced one of the street lights with an LED light. Seemingly randomly. Carnegie Park, Now with only Seven Burnt out Bulbs!

Well... SAM and I have only been able to go there 3 times... weather and schedule, you know... But! WOW! A Great Puppy Park! So far, everyone we've met have been Awesomely Friendly and very welcoming. Our puppies have instantly become friends! I did, however, meet one guy who asked me where I live and why I came to this park, saying this park is for Csrnegie residents. Is it? I mean, the nearest road sign I saw was Scott Township... Well, he had his large dog in the small dog area, so I just let him alone. Some people, right? I note that, but please don't think everyone using this park is like that. No... SAM and I met Great and Good People! SAM and I did discover, however, that the Pea Gravel comes up with the dog poo... Left me wondering if there's a way to senate the two and keep the Pea Gravel where it's doing such a great job... Only 3 times, so far, but SAM and I love Carnegie Dog Park!

I’ll try to be objective in this review as what I witnessed today deserves to be said. Today I saw a German shepherd grab a hold of a golden doodle and whip the doodle around with its mouth. I’m not sure if it had it by the neck but it appeared that it did. Why did this happen? A irresponsible dog owner who had no interest in interacting with the german shepherd nor protecting the German shepherd from itself. The owner of the golden doodle, in my eyes, seemed like she was trying to keep her dog away and this was mostly out of her hands. I am so sick of people who shouldn’t be dog owners. Dogs are equals, not people pleasers. There is good and bad at this park. There are owners who interact with their dogs and are responsible for their dog’s actions but there are too many owners who see Carnegie park as social time and choose to neglect their own dogs. You’re better than this. Aside from this, I would say the dog park is well kept. The owners a good job of cleaning up after the dog and park is spacious for a lot of breeds.

Has an area for large dogs and a separate area for smaller dogs. Fresh water source is available during spring/summer months. Carnegie boro does a great job of park maintenance!

My dogs love coming to this park. Most dog owners are friendly but there are several individuals, I refer to as 'poop police' that grate on my nerves. This park provides fresh water, bags to clean up your dogs business & hand sanitizer. The poop police yell at you as your dog is pooping, they point and shout as your dog is taking a dump. It is soo annoying.

Beautiful, small dog park separated into a larger and smaller dog area. There are a couple of benches for seating (wisely, they are made of metal mesh to discourage dogs from climbing / standing on them). The landscaping is small pebbles with a little grass, but the dogs don't mind. It also includes some stationary obstacles for obedience training (ramp, seesaw, jump gate). We had a lovely time and will definitely return!

It's nice dog park but do not recommend go in with puppies if there are many other dogs. NO CONTROL

Large space for dogs to run. Has a small dog section as well as large dog section. Some grass, mostly gravel. Very little mud and droppings are easy to gather and dispose of. Has disposal bags and receptacles. Seems to be regularly maintained. My dog likes it.

Borough does a good job and there are usually dogs in both the small and large sides to play. Unfortunately my dog has been attacked several times over the first year of her life here, Cane Corso, German Shepard and several pitbulls of course. Nothing serious but the owners but one were all like oh well. We now go to nearby Settlers Cabin, Donaldson and Moon dog parks instead.

Have been to plenty of dog parks in the surrounding area and loved them. More rules need to be enforced at this park. We have went to this dog park three times, and every time there was at least one aggressive dog. Owners will bring bags of treats, and dogs who are not fixed, often. Our one year old dog was never attacked, but my partner was attacked by a dog two weeks ago, which resulted in an urgent care visit and rabies shots. Please be cautious when visiting this dog park.

Our dogs really enjoy this park. There is plenty of shade, lots of places to sit. Plenty of bowls and running water. All the dogs are friendly that we have met there.

Gravel and grass patches keeps my dog clean. Nice equipment for agility/athletics. Lots of seating space. Convenient poop bags available in the dog park. Very well maintained. Lots of parking options. Close to a skate park and basketball courts so I can take a break too after my dog is out of juice :D

Thor and I have just started going. He gets so excited when I ask him if he wants to go to the dog park. Some days he walks around and plays and others he stays by me. I am hoping he gets better at playing the longer we go to the park. Have to start taking pictures. Then I can share with others. Thanks for making us feel welcomed
