Central Bark Dog Park

Love to take my dog here, she recognize this park as soon as I turned into the park, she starts crying of excitement, love this park, is always clean, love to go early in the morning, most of the times people is polite and considering about other dogs, my dog love to play with her toys, catch the ball, run all over the place, this is the perfect place for her to play, excercise and relax, so close to my house Dog-friendliness This place is super friendly for your furry baby, take them here without a doubt +2 Like Share Response from the owner a year ago Thank you for your wonderful feedback! Nice park. I just wished people pick up their dogs poop. The city does ok keeping it up.

The dog park is amazing, but there are irresponsible people like this guy with their german shepherd. The dog attacked a couple of dogs and he kept saying "that's how dogs play". He did not like it when I confronted him after his dog growled and bit mine for the third time. A woman came to defend him saying "how do you expect him to learn how to play,"as if that is the rest of us in the park our responsibility to teach their dog. When another lady came to make a point about how his dog was aggressive, he was rude about it as if his friend hadn't intervened as well. I tried to ask him if he knew what the rules were and they pretty much did not care. His attitude was "you say attacking as he is killing them" Oh gotcha, so I should wait until your dog kills to ask you to leave. No common sense from these dog owners. If you see him, I'd recommend to just call the cops to settle the situation. He gets obnoxious about it and his dog will eventually end up hurting another one badly. Spacious. Not crowded in the morning. I think 3 different sections for size of dogs. Play stations available. 3 Porta Potties available .

Always clean & well kept. My doggo loves this park. There are 3 different areas for them to play in based off size. Poop bags on site as well! My pup and I love going to this doggy park. Arlington keeps this park so clean, however I have seen people not pick up their dogs 💩 poop and that bothers me because that just tells you what type of person they are to let other people walk in their dog poop.Just lazy and 🤢 nasty to let their dog poop stay on the ground and not pick it up with a bag that is available at the dog park

Love the amount of space for dogs here! Just wished more pet owners would pick up after their dogs. There are sometimes small dogs in the large dog area which can be worrisome. Its really a good place. Its wide open and well maintained, has 2 separate areas for large dogs and a smaller enclosure for little ones. Lots of rocks and trick teaching apparatuses for training dogs if your wanting to do that. Restrooms There are no ( human) restrooms present. Dog-friendliness Bring your dog! Its a dog park! A+ dog park in Grand Prairie… big runs, clean, and great for both large and small dogs 🐶 Took Moose and Ingrid to the two large dog off-leash sites this morning, and they had a blast. Central Bark is located right by the Animal Shelter, which is easy to reach off Warrior Trail. Parking is free; just avoid the bus-only spaces and you’re golden 🅿️ The park has three fenced-in areas to keep play sorted: two for large dogs, one for small. Each unit has double gates, plenty of benches, and dog-level water fountains, so no need to lug in bottles or bowls💧 The ground is a mix of grass, turf, and pea gravel — all easy on the paws. Each pen contains a few amenities, such as (i) agility ramps, (ii) tunnels, and (iii) large rocks. Doggie waste stations are in each area too, which is helpful since I left mine at home. Would recommend bringing your dog’s favorite ball or play toy, though there’s a few spares laying around 🎾 Crowd was super friendly too. I met a sweet, older lady with an Australian shepherd who pulled up on her bright-yellow mobility scooter (aka “hot rod”) 🛵 Overall, Central Park is a solid 5 stars. Clean runs, plenty of space, and thoughtful details for humans and animals. Your dog will thank you 🙏🏻 Playground Kind of — playground is available for dogs only, featuring some tubes, rocks, inclines, and a gazebo area for shade. No playground for children (humans). Restrooms Yes — two port-a-potties from United Site Services are available right next to the parking lot and main entrance, behind the brick wall. Dog-friendliness 1000% dog friendly and includes three fenced in areas: two for large dogs, one for small dogs.
