The member fee is well worth the safe and well maintained place to let our pup play. One of the gated areas is shaded well in the late afternoon; great for our husky that prefers the cooler temps. We will be spending lots of time here.

Private park that requires $40 just to get started. Would you please change the name to Central Bark-Members Only? We drove 20 minutes to disappoint our puppy.

This park is a hidden gem. My husband and I moved here from Kansas City where there's a dog park on every corner practically. We own a cattle dog that must get her daily 2 hours of exercise and play. This park is divided into three sections, all very spacious and is well maintained. I highly recommend joining if you have a dog.

Excellent dog park! We took Cosmo to many dog parks and this was by far the best. Well maintained and lots of space! Well managed and much less expensive than Kay C’s. Playground Yes! Restrooms Yes! Dog-friendliness Excellent, and multiple yards to use if separation is needed. Picnic area Yes!

Was on a long road trip with a puppy and we needed to find a place for her to get some energy out. Disappointing to find out that we could not get in because of the required payment. However, it seems to be the only dog park around for a bit, and it looked nice with plenty of activities/toys for the dogs.

At Central Bark there are three separate enclosures for dogs so that not everyone who is there at the same time has to play and interact together. The grounds are kept tidy and the fences are in good condition. Note that this is a private park and you must fill out an application and pay a small membership fee to join. The gate has a pass code. Playground No playground for human children on Cental Bark the premises, but one very near by at the ball fields. Restrooms Portable toilets available. Dog-friendliness This place is built for dogs! Picnic area Picnic tables inside the fences for sitting. Eating in the dog park is NOT recommended.

Folks when you have a private dog park, edit the Google entry so travelers don't go out hoping to find a place to let their dogs go off leash and find you've provided no means too do that. We'd be happy to chip in for upkeep, think about how you might do that and you'd get extra funds.

I see a lot of reviews about “it’s expensive/private”. This is a non profit group. Nobody is making money off of this. It costs money to maintain a lot of things here. Everything is volunteer based here. For the most part it’s a labor of love, we have a few members that cut the grass, do all the yard work, ect. We also require vaccinations and shot records. We love it here. We’ve met the greatest friends here. Shared joy and sorrow, when our babies have crossed the rainbow bridge. Who is going to supply a free dog park and maintain shot records/rules/upkeep? I’ve not heard of any around here.

The park is member only and always accepting new members if their dog shots are up to date and they can pay the $30 annual. Its a great group of people and members have access to everything in the park.

I think it's money well spent. We just joined last week, and we went for the first time Thursday. We were there early like 8:00 a.m., and it was cool, Parker loved it, and we tried all 3 areas. No one else was there. We had a hard time finding it using Google Maps though. One complaint we have is all of the bowls and pools were empty so Parker had nothing to drink. One other thing I'd like to bring up is the no-drink rule. Myself I'm 53 and on oxygen, I have COPD,AND Asthma, so i need water quite often. If trash is a factor I'm that, then at least allow cups. But I think water should be allowed. There was a few piles of dog poop, ppl hadn't cleaned up behind their fur babies. We all need to be responsible, and respectful if we want to keep it a nice place to be around to relax, and enjoy. Team work. I would like to know what the fees are used for,if they want volunteers then it should be free to get in,I do agree with that. If there was at least 1 person on duty so to say during peek hours like 6 a.m to 10 pm,it'd be easier to know who dont follow rules,or security cameras. All in all it seems to be a nice park. We're going back this morning for awhile. I'd say we'll go at least 3 days a week..
