The trail is covered in trash. Not my idea of a nature walk.

Not maintained and trash all around. Low budget trail. I usually walk around the block instead. Redbank to the airport and back up by Buffalo Wild Wings. Noisy but I have headphones lol. Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Price for adult entry Free

Trail overgrown with Japanese knotweed and other brush in multiple places, trash is over much of the trail, and with the new apartments and the trail riding along the highway it's not much of a "nature preserve". Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free

Trail was well maintained and well marked. Happened to spot an egret in the pond which was nice. Only downside is that you can hear the highway throughout the trail.

You can start at Home Depot or you can start at the trailhead to the left of the Big Apple. It takes like 30 to 45 minutes at a slow to medium pace. Every time you go you will see turtles and storks and geese!

Not Maintained, Not safe. The Town of Portland should be ashamed of themselves that they let this beautiful trail go to waste.

Trail used to be well maintained but is now terribly overgrown in places. With the current construction there are parts that have been reduced to shredded bark underfoot. Hopefully this trail can get some rehab soon.
