Great dog park for city residents, located in the historic Cobb's Hill park. Closes early so get there quick if you work days.

Solid place for your dog. Always have ample high quality thickkk black poo bags available.

The park has been pretty great. We haven't had any issues and most dog owners are attentive and friendly. There are two spaces (large and small dog sides). The only thing I wish is that we each had our own card to get in (too many people give out the code to people whose dogs are not registered).

If you're from out of town and visiting don't bother. You need to be registered and have a code to get in with your dog. Very disappointed.

While it's a commendable job from the Rochester city to come up with a dog park, the maintenance of the park is supposed to be by the dog parents. Except some responsible parents a lot of them seems to not care about the well being of other dogs and the park. Picking up after your dog is somthing which is expected, but, a lot of parents just do not do it. It's a shame that even after proving with poop bags and a trash bin a lot of parents just ignore the fact that it's a public space and needs proper care.

Great dog park. Has 2 sides. 1 for small and 1 for large. Most of the time the small dogs are in with the large dogs because they are all socialized well. MUST be registered and LICENSED with the City of Rochester to gain access thru security gates. FREE registration for park once licensed. City doesn't do much to maintain the property. Many times the garbage can for feces is full. Doggie poop bags provided. Summer months a water outlet is turned on and a couple water bowls are provided. Grass areas get quite a bit of traffic so it can become very muddy in the Spring and Fall. Parking is across the street. Usually many tennis balls to play with. NO TREATS allowed...No breaking off tree branches for dogs to chase or chew. A couple of benches for sitting provided. More info call 311 from within the city.

I really enjoy bringing my dog here but the last couple of times she has had to deal with a couple of territorial dogs!!! People bring there dogs there that are not even registered with the city & some of the dogs are PUPPIES under the age 6 months !!! ALOT OF RULE BREAKING.....I WANT THIS TO ME A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR MY DOG BECAUSE A NEGATIVE ONE CAN CAUSE BEHAVORIAL PROBLEMS

I was ousted for not knowing the code to the park. Literally ignored by the people inside. Despite the fact that my dog's licensed and we live right down the street, I guess we weren't good enough to come in because we didn't know a damn code. Makes no sense to require a code if the dogs are more well behaved than their owners.

Pretty boring but ok if it's your only option. Can get muddy

Our 2 pups had an awesome time. Not too crowded when we were there. Has completely separate areas for Small dogs and Large. Good size dirt and grass areas, and water hose with bowls.

My first experience at this park was great! All the owners seemed really attentive to their dogs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I definitely plan to return.

This is just a mess. I don't think it was planned very well. They just put up some fencing and a couple of gates and left it at that. I'm very grateful to have a dog park so close to me where my dog can play off leash but, when it rains it turns into one giant mud puddle. There is no grass left. I don't know how they thought there would be after all the dogs started playing and running around everyday! And don't get me started on all the people that don't clean up after their dogs. I wish the people who put this "park" here could improve it somehow

I was mortified to show up to what I thought was a community dog park. Turns out it looks like two old tennis courts back to back, and I can't even take the pup I've been looking after in without a permit. Not the park for people who are pet sitters. I don't know what the permit process involves but I certainly would never spend any money to take a dog to this park.

So cute. The dogs all seem to get along very well. Very friendly pet owners also.

Great park for any season of the year. There are separated spaces for larger and smaller dogs. It's cleaned regularly and everyone there is very responsible for their dogs.

We go there just see the dogs. We love to see then interaction of the dogs with their owners, it is a great experience and fun. Unfortunately, we cannot have a dog at our home.
