I was visiting from out of town and was disappointed to learn a key fab is needed to access the dog park. However, there is a lot of open space and I ended up taking my dog for a walk in the trails just past the dog park. It's a nice park and a good place to stretch your legs.

The dogs are great but the people remind me of Southpark characters. They like to call park management over concerns of children younger than 10 being at the park. I apologize that my children are small for their age. People would really do well to mind their own business.

My dogs love the wide open space for running. There is a space for big dogs and small dogs. It can get a bit muddy when it rains and the dogs tear up the ground. You have to have a fob to get in and your dog has to be registered. Costs $35 for the year membership which allows you to get in all the dog parks. Dogs have to be UTD on shots to register. Morton dog park is free.

My dog and I enjoy this park. It is close to home and we have little to no trouble with the dogs and most people that bring their animals there. They provide water, poop bags, hand sanitizer, benches to sit on. There are also several tubs for animals to climb in and cool off.

You have to pay a membership to go to the dog park for the year but it's only like 30 bucks and it's well worth it did you get to meet all kinds of people that are amazing along with their pets and then your pet gets to make all kinds of friends and socialize very amazing dog park definitely is a must go to

This is a great dog park. It’s huge! They have two areas big and little and the big dog park even has a dog washing station!

The dog park here is maintained by grounds staff reasonably well. The large dog park is a bit small compared to Tom Sawyer and others in the area but still a good place to let the dogs run around. You will need to fill out an application with feeders supply and show proof of vaccinations to become a member. The dues for membership are yearly but relatively inexpensive.

Good park. Lots of trees so good shade. Lots of birds and squirrels to chase. Popular so there's lots of dog friends to play with. Bonus, the rest of Cherokee Park is right there so if you get bored of the dog run you can walk the loop or hike a trail.

I loved that the park was separated by small and large dogs, plenty of room to accommodate everyone. People are always friendly even when dogs are dogs. A great park to bring your animals and friends.

The park was alright. It's not that big and there isn't alot of seating around. There were also alot of stinkbugs in the gazebo so that was kind of unpleasant. Didn't like how there were some owners who blatantly let their dogs do whatever. I constantly had to keep pulling off a dog (chocolate lab) that was trying to mount my dog & the owner kept trying to pretend like he didn't see it. Don't know if I'll return.

Our dog Harley is a member of the Cochran Hill Dog Club. Members are allowed to bring guests and she frequently brings us with her for visits to romp with her Buddies. They have a big dog and a little dog side and sometimes the difference is based on personality not height or weight. They also have a third area which I believe is for dogs who are having a difficult time being polite with others. There's a picnic bench and a gazebo and a couple of scattered park benches for guests to rest on. Lots of room for running. There's even a hose and washing station as well as a couple of wading pools that members can splash around in. I'd suggest bringing a towel and shampoo in case your dog enjoys the water and your car doesn't want to get too trashed. Great dogs here, only occasionally do you find an aggressive member and the guests they bring with them seems eager to help out when there's a problem with a member's temperament.

Nice park with plenty of room to run. Well maintained and well stocked with tennis balls. There are a few low areas where water stands, making mud pits that I'd like to see fixed, but overall it's still mostly safe to take the pups up there a day or so after rain and not be forced to bathe them right after.

Has a good amount of space and there are plenty of dog toys and balls lying around. I will say the big part of the dog park has been closed for a while now. But there's still plenty of space in the parts that are open. Very busy a little bit before noon, so if your dog doesn't like big crowds I wouldn't recommend going around that time.

In the winter the ground can worn down to the dirt, but once spring comes, it’s my favorite out of all of them. There are tubs of water for dogs to cool off in, and tons of tennis balls available, and large (sone some areas shaded) areas for plenty of running and ball throwing. Three fenced off areas available, small dogs, all dogs and one for dogs that may need more private space as the adjust to being at the park.

The park is nice, my pups enjoy coming here to run around. The grass is mainly crab grass or weeds. Not a lot of people pick up after their dog either.

Great dog park! Nice area to run your dogs and pools to cool off!

Very nice dog park, membership required from Feeders Supply. Ample parking, and three separate fenced-in areas. One for small dogs and two for dogs of all sizes. Tons of room, but can get busy on nice days. Dog washing station and water available!

Cochran Hill Dog Run is conveniently placed near an entrance to Cherokee park. We have taken our dog there on multiple occasions she loves the large play area and friendly dogs. This run also has bags constantly stocked to clean messes, a water fountain, as well as tennis balls for free use. If you haven't gotten your key fob from Feeders Supply for the Louisville dog run parks then I definitely recommend doing so just for Cochran Hill.

This park does require a membership. You can get it from feeder supply store for $35 a year. It is fenced in and quite large, plenty of room for the dogs to run. They have a hose for the water bowls and in the summer, they have small pools you can fill with water. There is a dog wash station and they have a ton of tennis balls laying everywhere. There is some shade in the large dog park with the gazebo and the large tree with the picnic table underneath. The small dog park also has a gazebo but has a lot more trees for cover. It also has lights so you can bring the dogs at night. They do provide doggie bags. If it has rained the night before or day of, the dog park is really muddy on the large dog park.

Lots of open space. Nice gazebo. Running water. The only annoying thing is that small dog owners INSIST ON BRINGING their dogs into the big dog section. Then they make it our problem when their dogs get beat up.
