I love taking my service dog here. She has space to explore and it's kept up very well. There's lots of toys and supplies if you need something for your dog. Someone even left a container of bubbles and my daughter and dog had a bunch of fun with that. The bathroom is right next door too. I will say one complaint is that a few times I have gone I can not take my dog because people with dogs under 30lbs are on the larger dog side. Please follow rules so we can all enjoy the park! Very upset about a situation I found myself in this morning with two women with small dogs that were yipping and barking in the large dog area that I wanted to bring my large dog into. Then I had another woman who claimed to "be on the board" rudely tell me "who is going to police the rules?" When I politely asked the women to remove their very small dogs from the large dog area. Why are there posted rules if they are not to be followed? I dont feel this is fair or okay as a tax paying resident of the town who was just looking to let her dog run around off leash.

Excellent place to bring your pups. My dogs have burned Off so much energy it’s a wonderful place. Lots of great dogs that they play with and my guys are small but they go in with the big ones and they all have a good time together. It’s nice. Also the people that are there are so wonderful. You have a nice group that you get to make friends with. My Dogs get very excited when we pull into the park and they start whining. They know where they’re going and they can’t wait. Try it. You’ll like the park. Like Share Response from the owner a year ago Thank you, Darlene, for the wonderful review!

great dog park with both small and large dog areas. there’s a water fountain for dogs, as well as poop bags and bins available. There’s shaded areas and benches to sit on and lots of parking. Like Share Response from the owner 10 months ago Thank you for your great review Megan!

Very clean, toys available, well kept, water fountains available, announcement board to help the community stay involved, shaded areas, and small to medium size. Probably 8-10 laps to a mile on theirs gravel path in the large dog area. The total area is larger than just the path. Locked during April and May to help keep it nice. Playground Dog play equipment is available including tots and more. Restrooms Available right next to the dog park Dog-friendliness Very!!! Picnic area Multiple options available, very large park. A friend asked if I wanted to go along for a walk and visit to the Como Lake Bark Park with her and her dog. The walk in the park was very nice but the visit to the Bark Park was special. It was located next to a big parking area and restrooms. The Bark Park was divided into 2 sections, one for large dogs and the other for smaller ones. The entrances were double gated and the whole area was fenced in for security. The grassy area had paths built in and there was a covered area with benches to sit. It was clean and both people and dog friendly. Tip ... The Bark Park is very close to the Bowen Rd. entrance to Como Lake Park. Very easy to find if you use that entrance. Dog-friendliness It's a Bark Park after all. :-) Like Share Response from the owner 6 months ago Thank you for the great review, Tom!

I would really like to start with the fact that this park is very nice. I love it here and so do my boys. Unfortunately, I am just not sure if we can return. There was an incident yesterday with a guy that showed up with his wife and small children, which usually I would just leave. My precaution just to make sure my boys are not involved in any incidents. It is what I’m comfortable with. In fact, a few days earlier, the same people show up, I leashed my boys and we left. She insisted it was OK, and I just said I was not comfortable with it. Done and done. Well, yesterday they showed up again. He was in the park with his dog, and it appears his family was getting ready to come into the park. Now I was standing there with another regular, who also has a very big dog, who then asked me if they were coming in. I responded with, "I don’t know, but if so, I have to leave." Well, the guy was behind us and immediately started having a fit. Thank you for making us feel welcome. I’ll just get my dog and leave. I said, "Hey bud, if you wanna stay, I’ll leave. Not a big deal." He was very irate about it, started cussing at me, and even threatened to knock my head off. Empty threat, of course, showing off for his wife. He would definitely not like what would come if provoked, being there with small children and acting like that is disgraceful. I am a big advocate for my dogs and will do what I feel is best for them. His wife then started asking me what was wrong, and I simply said, "If you wanna risk bringing your children into a big dog park, you’re not breaking any rules, but I would like to leave, which is my right." he than demanded that I stop talking to his wife like that. Like what? she asked me a question I answered her question. I did not yell raise my voice or cuss at either one of them? Am i crazy or what? if anyone would be so kind as to respond to that simple question. this is a dog park where a lot of big dogs run joyfully I follow my dogs around everywhere. I just don’t wanna put them in a bad position with small children. Please change the rule at least involving small children on the big dog side. And thanks to all the helpers who keep The Park up.
