Crosby Farm Park is a beautiful, sprawling system of trails and paths, rambling along the Mississippi River through forests, wetland, and floodplains. The park is well kept and accessible by both car and bike. Definitely worth a visit for a walk in the fresh air. 😌 …

Absolutely beautiful walk! We did a loop around the lake and it was a blast! Parking was a bit challenging as it was packed at 2PM on a Saturday on the first nice day in a long while, but finding this hidden gem of a waterfall made it even more worth it! Trail was well packed down, the loop on the north side of the lake though got pretty icy in spots. We saw people biking, cross country skiing, and hiking. All around great place!

Very peaceful and serene and feels like you are much farther out from the city than it is. Not a lot of people and it seems the people who do use the trails are very friendly and polite. Tundra Swans are very cool!

One of my favorite places. You will feel like you are far away from the city, in the middle of the city! Great place to see the river and go for a long walk or bike ride. Wintertime is great for biking lots of trails to follow. Parking is limited, so it's best to park at hidden falls and hike in.

SO beautiful! Nice paved bike paths. Such a gem in the middle of the city! Even in the rain last Fall, I experience such beauty on those trails. Such a nice get away in the middle of the city. :)

In terms of the park itself, it’s an amazing area very woodsy and so peaceful. I wish the facilities would open the bathroom more often . Restrooms Most of times it’s locked. There is an old portable toilet.

My favorite place to chill after I bike around the Big River. Two Rivers Overlook is the spot and it's easy to walk or bike to Fort Snelling across the river. Crosby Farm Park is on the MRT off Shepard Road in Saint Paul. If you see me on my Black Giant Cypress, say hello!

I truly love this park! There’s so many birds to watch. Plenty of different hiking trails too. There’s a small parking lot with a porta potty as well. There are some steeper muddy parts of the trail so I recommend wearing reliable boots/shoes.

What I like about this place is that the minute you step a few feet out of the parking lot, you are basically in the woods! Nice wide paths, though, and views of the water... Birds, and critters, too! Most of the path is shaded, so it is a cool reprieve, and it's also paved, so great footing, and easy biking, (I assume). Parking lot is pretty small, but it can just stay way, rather than tear up the riparian sanctuary!

Fun winter hikes and walks, took about a 1 mile hike from the parking lot to the slot canyon. The trail up to the south canyon had 2 icy lifts or areas you had to scramble up. There were some ice climbers in the canyon which was pretty interesting to watch. It was a warm sunny day and lots of people on the trails including some cross country skiers and people ice fishing on the ponds. Nice escape in the city. FREE PARKING with nice long trails which will give you proper exercise. Plus there are Dakota signs dotted around that will help teach you a little piece of your Minnesota heritage on how to pronounce the names of certain trees in THEIR language. We always have a great time hiking around these woods. My kids like to walk along the river looking for shells and cool rocks. The trees are huge and gorgeous out there and they do have a small pavillion if you wanted to have a quick lunch or grill out. We'll always have this staple park to go to as long as it's around.

great park w many walking trails that span through a forest, lake/river, and an open field. just be careful if you’re walking in the the forest area because stinging nettle does in fact, sting, and there are wasp nests in some areas. the views are gorgeous though and it’s quite refreshing to spend time in the beachy area.

It’s a nice typical Minnesota river park. It leads to the polluted river. Green in the summer and white in the winter. You can walk along the Mississippi River. The best part is the hidden part of the old farm. You got to find the access point. Scary but more unique and wild. Restrooms There is a restrooms as well but are only open certain times and Spring/Summer only. Dog-friendliness There are dogs people take to the park on a leash. Picnic area There are a few picnic tables by the main building. 0:09 0:10 0:10

In the winter this park takes on a totally different feel than in the summer. You can see far - through all the bare trees, and it's a wonderful experience. Crosby is located on the river, but has many paths that don't feature the water, so you can get your fill of whatever you want. Big, wide, clear paths, but the riverside trail is a super cute, beaten down path through the sand...again you can get whatever experience you want. There's a lake that'll freeze up, but considering we were in the 50s last week, at the moment I trust nothing. The dogs and I hiked around for an hour and a half. They smelled some really interesting smells, because Holy smokes their noses were to the ground! And for some reason I smelled roasting marshmallows for a really good portion of my walk, and I kinda need to know what business is upwind of the park bc I left so dang hungry!! We'll for sure be back soon!

Beautiful, easy walk with lots of friendly families and birds. The hollowed-out trees are knarly! 0:07

Many trails. Indoor restrooms. Used the fire pit, roasted marshmallows, made S'mores. Ate lunch at picnic tables. Don't know where the snake came from. Wasn't a garden snake although there were some along the trails. It looked like a rattle, but it was not. Good place to do scavenger hunt with nature. Restrooms Clean Dog-friendliness Can walk your pets. Picnic area Grill, pit, and tables.
