David McDonald Park

Big open meadow. No playground. Plenty of ample space. A small area with a paved path in a loop.

Good place. Plain, but that's it's purpose. Can play soccer, football, play Frisbee, fly kites, or exercise. No need to playground equipment since it's not meant for that. There's other playgrounds nearby.

Good place to walk dogs or fly drone. Maybe even launch rockets with kids.

We came out for Clovis PD annual Clovis Night Out. We found parking and watched the drone show. It was awesome. Very, very cool.

This is a clean park, but is very plain. It does have nice restrooms, but basically is only a large grassy area with a separate area consisting of cement walkways with a few nice benches, and a cement stage-like area which I assume the purpose of is for viewing the Sierra Mountains to the east.This area overlooks what appears to be a flood basin, which was grassy green with stretches of wild flowers. The park is a pleasant place for a chat, to relax and read, let the kids run and play, fly a kite, jog, etc. (Should you plan for a picnic, keep in mind there are no tables with benches!) The 3 stars are due to having no playground.

To think all those boys dreams are now just names on a wall! Heartbreaking!

It is a large wonderful Park. Clovis night out here was just amazing. It was so much fun for the whole family. And a lot of gratitude from our entire family for those who in service for the City of Clovis. Thank you again and we are looking forward to next year!

What can I say about this park?Its great!Clean! Well kept!We have a Kettle Corn business and do the Clovis Night Out here.Come out and visit next year and get some of the best Kettle Corn around.You have a great day and God Bless You! Restrooms The restrooms were well kept and very clean!

Loved the openness. Kid flying plane dad playing soccer, family playing volleyball, and us introducing our puppies together. Fantastic area to get everything done and have plenty of room. Some geese poop, one pile of dog poop. Public restrooms, clean!

This morning feels special. I had an appointment, so I’m heading to the office a bit later than usual. I spent a lovely morning in this beautiful park.
