Denny Park Dog Park

Okay place, dusty and small, but grateful it exists! We tend to like places that allow for separation when necessary, but any off leash area is better than none! Of note: there is a gap under a gate (locked) that a smaller dog escaped under while we were there- owners of small dogs be aware!

This is a nice medium sized park. The fence is about waist high so if you have a strong jumper that likes to play escape artist that may be something to keep in mind. My rating is biased because my dog had fun there and if he's happy I'm happy.

Stay away! The homeless like to bring their vicious dogs here. Guy said “my dog never bit another dog!” Right after his pit mix went after a smaller dog. Had to take 3 of us to pull the pit off. Owner rushed over to the paramedics who happen to be parked nearby, then took an uber to the nearest vet. Gave the homeless guy a piece of my mind and told never to come back! Not a great first impression of living in Seattle. Even if you’re homeless, if you have a dog, learn how to train them or don’t have a dog at all!

Decent space for your pup to run but definitely no thrills. Small gravel area in a nice park setting surround by trees. If you re in the area there is not much to choose from nearby.

Decent dog park. 2 benches, one fire hydrant, about an acre of flat cinder and a double gate. Nothing spectacular but clean and seems safe.

Rarely encounter other dogs here. Gravel/Dirt surface is messy if it’s rained within a month. Good place to go if you want to be alone with your dog for a game of frisbee, fetch, or obedience drills.

Its like medium size fenced in dog park , with just all sand . Its got one bench for owners to sit on .

Nobody else here and my Yorkies had a great time. Not fancy but I didn't bring the leashes and the trip took longer than expected! Dog-friendliness Separate area for the small dogs if needed. Poop bags provided 👍

Ngl...this is a pretty underwhelming dog park. It's just a fenced patch of gravel with a fake fire hydrant in it. Why bother? Otoh, tons of squirrels in the non dog part of the park. Playground Bigger and better than the dog park...even though there were tons of dogs in the park and no kids to be found at all. Restrooms Filthy Dog-friendliness If your dog is ok with walking around on gravel then it's fine. Mine isn't. There's no features or anything other than a fenced patch of gravel here. It's pretty crappy tbh. Picnic area Didn't see an obvious picnic area
