Denny Substation Dog Park

Turf is covered in poop, but it frequently gets cleaned, and it's the only dog park in my area. Decent size. Water bowl doesn't work.

Not Seattle Parks department. Nice little dog park. Owned by Seattle city light. Apparently they don't shut their drinking fountains off in the winter.

This little park is a good option for those who live in the area. I would not drive to this park. It would be very difficult to find parking here. It has fake grass(apparently because it easy for cleaning) They clean on Mondays 9am-11am. A lot of dogs behave differently when toys/balls are involved. I wish they imposed 'no ball' days here. On weekday evenings, the whole little park is filled with people tossing balls for playing fetch. My dog used to be a fetch-pro and she is crazy obsessed with fetch. After all her recent joint issues and surgeries, she can no longer play fetch.. which means we cannot visit this park ever in the evenings :( breaks my heart Restrooms No restrooms Picnic area Nope.. none.

In defense of the pup that was called out by a petty reviewer recently, our dog has been playing with that pup for a while now and he is full of love, has a great personality & boundless energy and it is unfortunate this reviewer did not even attempt to locate and talk to the owner of that pup. I know of a number of other pup owners who share our positive experiences as well and I'm personally inclined to side with the pup we know than the devil we don't.

Clean and nice dog park. Dogs (and humans) are usually quite friendly, but there is always the risk of a few exceptions to that rule. Usually very busy at 6pm and the dogs get more overwhelmed, better to go earlier or later. Dog-friendliness It's a dog park.

This is a cute little dog park with plenty of waste bags, a doggy water fountain, double gated entrances, and Astroturf. Everyone (dogs and people!) was very well behaved. The people were pretty quiet in the middle of the day on a Tuesday, but there were several instances of loud sirens nearby. Luckily, my dog doesn’t mind them. Nicely maintained and usually free of waste. They clean Mondays 9-11am. I’m upset that a dog named Cloud (Bernese Mountain Dog) attacked and bit my dog. After the attack, a male owner came up to me and said he left because that dog is known to be aggressive. I expressed to the owner her dog is too reactive and not welcome here and I will call the cops the next time. Please be aware!

I Gave the park 5 stars. The fact that they have a nice water fountain for the dogs and a faucet capable of connecting a hose. And a blue kiddy pool that is easy to fill.! Dog-friendliness Dog owners keep a close eye on their dogs.
