I live in Hamilton County and I have to say this dog park is nice, but they definitely need to improve given to me in this area. The wood chips are not a friend to a dog for them to be running around in. A few years ago they move the park and instead of laying down turf like they had which would’ve been better or even Grass they’ve opted for wood chips, which you get dogs very dirty and also cause splinters. Really would like to see an upgrade here, but it’s free and mostly nice dogs.

Dogs are all super friendly and owners are attentive. Suggest bringing lots of water. Well kept and free

My dog was bitten here today. This is no fault of the dog park of course but beware that some people take their dogs here that really shouldn’t. This is a a very deep wound and not typical for a dog that’s only correcting another. My 7 month old mixed terrier is super friendly but a rambunctious player nonetheless. Won’t be back.

For a free park, this is a good place to take your dog to. I’ve only had a few times where a dog has been overly aggressive, but that cannot be blamed on the park itself but the people who come around. Always cleaned up and maintained!

Just took my 10 month mini dachshund there. It doesn’t have a small dog area, but she loves running with bigger dogs. I thought there wouldn’t be any problems but within five minutes she discovered that she could slip through the fence. Very thankful to the other owners keeping her attention while I ran around to get her. This park is not for us, but seems great for bigger dogs!

For a smaller park, it was great. Fellow owners did good job watching dogs, plus liked the idea they have hose available.

It is great to have a city park for dogs that doesn't cost an arm and leg or require a membership. The park is relatively small and will benefit from some shade trees. It is certainly better than nothing. It is conveniently located near restaurants at Clay Terrace, many of which offer outdoor seating and permit dogs to join for dinner. Don't forget to bring water for your pups!

This park is well kept and nice. Lots of things for dogs to climb on and space to run. Multiple tennis balls just around the park too. Only way it could be better would be some shade.

So I just moved from Chicago where all the dog parks are free and I was super irritated to find out that almost all dog parks in the area require you to pay for a membership or to buy passes + show vaccination records. I could go on a whole rant about how that’s b*llsh*t but I’ll stick to the rating. This is a GREAT FREE dog park. There is plenty of room for dogs to romp around and play. There is like no dirt anywhere, only mulch and grass turf so no more worries about the mud (which I’ve seen in previous reviews). There are little obstacles for the dogs where they can get some shade but almost no places for their humans to get some shade. They had a large umbrella set up but it was broken so I dont know if they have future plans to try and increase the amount of shade. They just remodeled and it is a bummer they didn’t add any water fountains for drinking or hose lines for those cheap plastic kiddie pools that the doggies could use to cool off in. In my experience almost all dogs love kiddie pools to cool off in so if there is anything this park is missing it would be the kiddie pools and some more shade!

The park was clean, dogs & owners were friendly. A great atmosphere. My golden doodle, Reese, really enjoyed the time there!

Clean. Bowls provided. Lots of people and dogs come and go. Tiny. No water provided. Small dogs can fit through the iron rod fence.

This place was a decent location but because it was so small, the dogs did not have much space to run around and it to prevent confrontations between dogs. Also, the whole thing should be a type of turf since there is so much cold/wet weather that causes the mulch to be nothing but mud. I will not be bringing my dog here again.

This is a small little dog park behind the shopping at clay terrace. It's a little ways back from a kids playground. It has a couple trees and benches, but no water bowls or fountains. It has a double door entry way to give buffer for dogs coming or going. The ground gets extremely torn up so expect lots of mud if it's rained. This is actually a free park, but everyone I've met there has been great. As with any dog park, you do need to be mindful of your and other dogs. When I went in February there was probably 30 dogs there because it was a warm day. Even so it didn't feel too crowded. My only conplaint is when people bring small children when the sign clearly states children under 13 aren't allowed. Not all dogs are kid friendly and the park is for the dogs.

My dogs absolutely love this park! Best part is it's free! I have one dog that is super social and one that just loves to fetch but could care less about socializing. It works perfect for both of them! Reason for 4 stars is there's no source for water other than owners bringing it.

Really have to give it a 3. Very nice and roomy dog park but there could be abit more shade.and a WATER FOUNTAIN for humans/canines. Will be back again, it was fun, but again dont forget the water, others share but they cant supply the whole dog population there, especially if its hot outside...Still no water fountain and hose was not there either.

Found this dog park while looking for one that didn't require you to pay to get in, as we'd taken my 8 month old Husky puppy with us on the road trip, and he's used to a yard, not a leash 24/7. It's a very, very nice dog park. We didn't stay very long though as Archer was very freaked out by the sheer number of other dogs, so I assume this is a very popular park! Would recommend for dogs who are acclimated to being around lots and lots of other dogs, perhaps not so much for dogs who don't enjoy a literal pack of dogs running rampant haha

First time taking my Shih-Tzu to a dog park. She was easily the smallest dog, but everyone at the park was nice and reassuring and the dogs were all well behaved. Only downside is that if you have a small or toy breed the space between the fencing might be big enough for your pup to slip through. We had a blast.

They tried. I've only been here once but everything was dry, dusty, and dead. I was hoping for some grass that was still alive but the dirt stains in my car weren't fun to clean up either. Edit: It's better now. Wood chips instead of dirt and artificial turf in some areas too. There's a couple trees, benches, obstacles for the dogs, and there's plenty of bowls if you bring your own water.

I have mixed feelings about this park. It’s Free. If it were a membership park it would get Zero stars. It all depends on what time of day you go. Right after work it’s INSANE way too many dogs. I’ve been there 4 times and 3/4 times there was a problem owner who wasn’t paying attention. There’s this one lady who must be a regular because other people were talking. She has a HUGE very curly dog. I don’t know what breed. She has no control over the animal and lets it pin down and obsesses over smaller dogs. Being a free park there’s no recourse even after asking her to please watch her dog. Take that for what it is. It’s a nice facility, we love the artificial turf, but it’s overcrowded and unsupervised
