There is a parking lot, but a severe lack of shade

Originally went to a hockey game at AZ ice next door to this park. The ice rink is a real dump but this dog park is beautiful! Always makes me happy to see people loving animals🐾😇🫶🏼 …

Beautiful park. It's kind of hidden, which makes it even better. I don't think the fishing is great here, but everything else is great.

Friendly place, not nearly as busy as cosmo dog park. Water fountains for thirsty pups.

Best dog park in the area!!! much better than Cosmo dog park for several reasons: Much less crowded, the grass is nice but not muddy (dogs stay cleaner}, and the dogs are generally more calm & less aggressive than the ones at Cosmo. A good analogy is that Cosmo is like a nightclub compared to the calm neighborhood bar that is Crossroads.

Drive 4.5 hrs to find the park closed due to flooding. Really? Dogs love water!!

Nice place to let the dogs run around. I went there on a Sunday and I was the only person there.

Lake and water features are under construction. Nothing special without that. Wasn't super clean... owners hadn't cleaned up after their pets. Make sure to bring your own water and bowl. Will try it again if they get the lake back in... Restrooms None

MUD MUD MUD. Huge area, nice park. When they sprinkler grass, it turns into a giant mess. It's April 2025 and the summer MUD pits are already here. They need maintenence to fix the sprinkler coverage, leaky sprinklers etc. Nice park but seeing how it was all summer last year and how it's already starting this year, may need to find another park. THERE IS NO HOSE to wash the mud off your dog either, just a fountain

Too many large aggressive dogs in the timid dog area. Not once have I seen a park ranger there. Seems like all the questionable dog owners that used to go to Cosmo dog park are coming here since Cosmo is under renovation.

Coming from Wisconsin, where my dog had a choice of ponds to swim in, I was perplexed at how I would be able to have my dog swim without going up to the mountains. So I googled dog swimming near me and found this place. He had so much fun -- the smile on his face was worth the drive. It wasn't crowded. There was no dog poop 'everywhere' which I read in the reviews. They obviously add something to the pond to keep it clear of algae (thank you), and harmless to my giant Labrador, who swam to his hearts content until he was utterly exhausted. Didn't see the dog wash area, but he didn't need it as the water was nice... and cool to the touch. Hopefully, it will be nice like this all summer.

This dog park is great in the winter and spring. Other than that not to many people take their dogs out because of how hot it is. It's a perfect place to go and socialize your dogs. If you don't like the crossroads location you could walk a mile to cosmos dog park.

Update as of 1/20/24: There is no longer a way to pick up after your dog. The rakes have rusted away. I've brought bags in, and they'll be gone the next day. The park just needs replacement poop rakes. Parking is close to the entrance. The park features double gates, a smaller space for timmid dogs, and a larger wide open space for larger dogs to run around. Recently remodeled, but newly installed grass is already dead for the fall. I hope it turns green again in the sping. There are plenty of tools available to pick up after your dog.

Usually always well behavevd dogs/owners. Large space to run around. Winter grass would be very nice. Hit and miss with other dogs showing up, sometimes we're the only one there. But for more of a mellow park with less risk of other aggressive dogs, it's does the job.

The dog park for people whose dog may not do well in crowds. This dog park is not as crowded since its right by cosmo dog park wgere most prefer to go. But its big and open and perfect if you want to avoid big crowds of dogs and people especially on a weekday. I often have it to myself.

Great place to play with the pups or just the family. Large pond where remote control vehicle enthusiasts can often be found on the weekends. Dedicated dog park area with separate enclosures for high-energy and low-energy dogs. Huge area with plenty of space for everyone.

Restrooms are clean . I like the dog park because it is so big. My Malonois gets plenty of exercise while I put in my steps for the day

Very clean and wide open spaces. Great for family walks, playing games, and fishing. Didn't catch anything yesterday, but saw some dead tilapia on the banks. Had a great time with some local roosters who attend the park.

While I understand this does not impact a lot of people, this place was terrible for me. The grass was so dead and dry it flared up my allergies like crazy, more so than any other dog park I've been to in AZ as well as other states. Would not come back here again, at least not this time of year. People were nice and dogs seemed mostly well behaved.

Great park for the kids and pups. Lots of different areas for different dogs, and a nice playground for the brats when the dogs are done.
