Dog Park | Village West Park

The dog park idea is great but these hillbillies had their dogs there. Would not leave my dog alone. Gave my dog fleas. They did nothing. And i know fleas can live inThe grass as well. I wont return to another dog park ever. Basic open fenced field

Went into the small dog side with my 5 month old medium dog (when she is full grown we will go to the large dog side but right now she is only 15 inches tall and weighs about 20 lbs). There was an aggressive large breed dog in there that was literally tackling the smaller dogs and yanking on their legs with his teeth. I know this is a one time experience but at busy, large dog parks people tend to get lazy and let their dogs do whatever they want. The owner of this particular dog was on the other side of the park on her phone. I will not bring my dog back to this park. We will go to the southwest one or the dike east one.

Great place for dogs, nice trail, plenty of picnic tables for sitting.

The dog park in West Fargo is a very good place for your four legged friends. Plenty of open space for them to run, and the people bringing their dogs make sure that their dogs socialize well with the others. Occasionally you'll find a dog that will jump on you, but they are all usually very good dogs. And also. If your dog is pint sized, there's a big area for them to keep them away from the sometimes rough play of the bigger pups. All in all, an excellent place to let your dog roam. Just be careful of the occasional muddy area, because sometimes you'll end up with a muddy pup. And that's no bueno. Either way. Bring your best pupper and let them play with the rest.

Lots of nice people and nice dogs. It can get pretty muddy in the middle, but the outside edges are usually okay. Only had a couple bad owners with misbehaving dogs out of the 10+ times I've been there. One of my favorite dog parks to go to in town. Playground Nice playground for the kiddos to play nearby. Dog-friendliness It's a dog park... meant for dogs.

Love this park! I take my dog here whenever we have the chance! On site water and waste bags to clean up after your pooches are provided as well.

There's shade to sit under and a sheltered area too. Parking is easy, and the dog park seems pretty clean. The biggest eyesore is the square of dead weeds in the middle of the park.

Was good, but cigarette buds everywhere at every picnic table.

Always a great experience for the pups! I never run into ill manored dog, and qll of the owners are good folks as well, i usually am able to strike up a conversation, and share stories about our dogs!

2 HUGE gated yards for small and large dogs. A covered picnic table area in the larger yard. Both yards look to be mostly grass with water stations in the corner. A park with a play structure is also available next to the dog park.

This dog park is such a great little gem for all dog owners. But unfortunately, some inconsiderate and lazy dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs. So be mindful on where you’re stepping because I accidentally stepped in dog poo! 🤢 Otherwise, my pup had a great time running around.😁 🚨DOG OWNERS, PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!🚨

It's a nice basic park. It would be great to have more shade around the park, or a central location for shade so you can stay protected from the sun AND keep a close eye on your pooch.

It's a dog park. Not a lot of shade, does have benches and a structure with tables though.

Great place to take my soon to be 5 month old puppy to mingle. Since the season change the place has been cleaned up of all the dog poo but there are people not cleaning up after their dogs so that sucks as I track back into my car when I take my puppy home. But otherwise really great spot.

Working out of town I was happy to find a place for my dog to play. Great people well kept grounds and other dogs were friendly.

This is my dog's favorite place in the WORLD! She whines to go every time we drive past it on 45th. Does get muddy when it rains but has a covered patio, seating for humans, two separate fenced areas and disposable doggie bags. Also is adjacent to a playground for the kids, basketball and skating ramps.

Lovely people. Huge open space, 2 sided, water on tap, huge light you can switch on, doodoo bags, gazebo and benches.

It's a good place, the only problem I had with it, was there was no enclosed shelter for the winter. But it is a nice dog park. Spacious and has a big dog area, and small dog area. Restrooms There is only a porta potty. Picnic area There is a picnic area.
