Smallest dog park I've ever seen. Better for toy sized dogs since there is no room to actually play fetch!

It's was nice and quiet and it helped keep my parents 7 mo. Old skidish and shy newly adopted puppy from freaking out and she had fun with the other dog that was there that she was able to play with!

Really small but super cute. It is one of the best things the city could have put in that small awkward spot. Note it is not a "proper" dog park with designated dog size areas, it is just one area so exercise your own judgment. Woof!!

My Boy and I love it! It's a bit of a sight for sore eyes and could use a tiny touch up....besides that it's all groovy; usually close to none doggie doo doo, no garbage and seems to be well kept by those who stop by the Dog Park.

I like the sand and fencing. I'd like to know that all of the plants surrounding it are non-toxic to dogs since they poke through the fence. It would also be a lot nicer if there were safe ways to walk there, but since it is surrounded by streets on all sides, it's both a distracting and potentially stressful place for dogs (and their owners) as well as being difficult to reach with a dog in tow. The sand is really nice though, I prefer it to the grass in most parks. Without grass it's easier for dogs to see their toys and allows them to dig without such unsightly consequences. It's also much less messy than grass in the rain or snow, which becomes a mud puddle; the sand makes dirty paws and toys but the sidewalk cleans off puppy feet within a couple blocks. There's no water fountain but there are potty bags and a trash can.

everyone is always nice, but I wish folks cleaned up after their dogs... It's so easy! just scoop and toss it in the dang trash! Dog-friendliness Tiny dog park; small size encourages dogs to play more than they might otherwise

This is the smallest dog park I’ve ever seen and nobody picks up their dog’s poop here. Very disappointed.

One word to describe it. Disgusting. Tiny little gravel area loaded with other people's dog poop

Cute small park. Peaceful only one other pet there. This made it perfect for my Great Dane to unwind before heading home. Doggy bags provided however the water fountain did not work so bring your own water.

In our car tour of the Pacific Northwest, I have never seen such a disgusting dog park as the Spokane downtown dog park. In addition to being small, covered with bgravel and smelly, nobody is picking up their poops. I do not recommend anyone use this dog park for their dogs.

So small it is laughable, unless you only had very small dog breeds. While the location serves the downtown pet-owner community, the entrance/exit dual gate system is sub-par. In fact, both gate latches are currently broken, which means neither gate securely shuts. Moreover, the allotted space between the dual gates is much smaller compared to the standard dog park, and doesn’t seem ADA/wheelchair compatible. With the adjacent car traffic, the current entrance/exit gate layout is a major safety hazard for dogs. Furthermore, the metal gate perimeter is short (maybe 3’ tall) and while the aesthetic is “historic city” the gate wasn’t safe for small dogs who could easily fit between the parallel bars—hence smaller wire fencing was added. With two benches, sand ground surface, waste bin, and water fountain for dogs, it has other essential off-leash dog park features. Dog-friendliness Gate latches broken, as of April 2025.

It's a small, fenced in area to let your dog off leash. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. Would recommend for small dogs 20lbs and under. Big dogs, it's more just a potty break space. There are roads and sidewalks all around so it can be great for training with distractions and socializing.

My dog will only go to the bathroom at this park I works give it a 5 but other dog owners are lazy and irresponsible and don't pick up after their dogs I have spent about 2 hours total picking up after them so my dog doesn't get sick. It does have a drinking fountain for both owners and dogs. It also has a couple of benches to sit on. They are always in the sun though. Playground None Dog-friendliness This is all for the dogs Picnic area None

This is a tiny spot. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. This is absolutely more of a doggo dort bathroom than a 'dog park'. It's tiny. I'd venture to guess about 300 square feet total and all dirt. Theres 3 trees. But, there is at least a doggo water fountain. Lastly, the double gate system does not latch, so use your leash if you need it to stay closed. Can't wait for high bridge to open back up and frankly not sure why there aren't more fenced dog parks around spokane considering this is a very dog friendly city, there are neighborhood parks everywhere and adding a fenced area to each would create inexpensive and awesome entire family spaces. Anywho. Not anyways, not a great spot so I won't be back.

Gate latches are still broken, and no one picks up after their dogs. Small area and the fence is pretty short. Sand/dirt ground, no grass. The only positives is that it is relatively well lit with tree cover, and there are a couple benches. Visited once to check it out, won't be going there again.

Pretty small spot for my big Rotty, do he can't play fetch here. But it's clean and there's water for the dogs. There are a few benches to sit in the sun with beautiful view of the trees.
