Elm Creek Park Reserve - Dog Off-leash Area

This might be one of the best dog parks I've ever been to it was my dog's first time swimming there and he loved!!! It we will always remember this place and be back for future endeavors

close to 30 acres of off leash area for the dogs to run freely!! there's a small pond, a slope and a small dog park specifically for small dogs. this is a great place for the dogs to run around, while the owners get to walk around a little bit. we tend to spend about 2 hours here every time we are here.

The best dog park yet!! Trails, open area, hills/valleys, woods, water, benches, drinking area for dogs, so much room with so many different views… it’s perfect!! Your dog will love you and you will feel like the park was created w/ you in mind. Grand thank you to those who made this to exist!

Large fenced in dog park with plenty of space for dogs to roam and enjoy. Most dogs and dog owners are respectful of others and the park.

Our dogs favorite place! Very nice set up. Lots of space and very nice walking trails.

It's a big park with many trails to walk through. Fenced off area with a pond for dogs to swim. There are other areas of standing water that are not fenced off. People are typically nice there. You have to have a Three Rivers membership. I believe it's around $60/yr. Playground Not recommended for kids. Restrooms In front of the entrance only. 0:07 0:06

One of 2 dog parks I am willing to take my dog to. Walkable with plenty of trails. Scenic beautiful trails. In spring or rain make sure to have proper footwear because it can get a little muddy on the trails (it is a dog park). I go to the dog park for my dog to be able to socialize with other dogs. This park and Minnehaha creek are the 2 spots where you are almost guaranteed to have other dogs there. There is a water area at both of these parks. Minnehaha is better for that in my opinion since it isn't stagnant water (but for others that could be a negative). There are areas for people to sit right near the start of the park for those who can not walk as far. Dog-friendliness 10/10 I have a crazy little dog that is a big personality and I've never had a problem here. He prefers big dogs so he goes into the big dog area. Picnic area There are tables. Also a covered picnic table area for shade & weather. I would personally try to refrain from food being that it is a dog park and it is best to avoid any potential triggers for dogs.

Ok, I have L❤️VED this park for years, but they have really let the ragweed go this year. If you are sensitive to ragweed at all, STAY AWAY!! Not over exaggerating at all here when I say there are large areas where it is at least 10 feet tall. Dog-friendliness Historically this has been the best dog park in the metro area.. but the ragweed is making it inaccessible for us this fall.

Big place with lots of trails. You need a permit to visit, and you can pay annually (nominal fee). Bring your own poop bags, and remember the garbage is only at the entrance, so you will be carrying it with you. You don't have to go in the water area if you don't want a dirty dog. (It is separate.)

Separate small pup area. but humans whom love retractable leashes request here. I train my dogs and it’s hard to let them play with retractable trained humans .
