All i care about is the basketball rims. And they suck. Theyre not regulation 10 feet and the entire pole/backboard rattles for like 8 seconds after each shot(unless its a swish) Very annoying and dont get me started on their Net contraption they have going on there

Farmstead Park is always where I begin the journey on the Clinton River trail system. I always come here and walk to the trail down to either side. During festivals, it’s great to park here and then walk to the festival from your car. It’s a little bit of work but worth it when you think about how hectic Downtown Sterling Heights is. Overall I love this park and it’s maintained phenomenally, with sometimes doing the DIA’s painting in the parks series. Playground It’s small, it’s perfect for little kids. And easily accessible for adults if you wish to play with your young ones. Restrooms Two bathrooms, both gender neutral. (The middle door is nothing, but to the right and left of it is the bathrooms.) Dog-friendliness Yes but only if your dog is, a lot of people come running down these trails. The soccer field may be more suited for some dogs, just please clean up after yourself. Picnic area Yes it’s shaded under a pavilion behind the bathrooms.

It's very clean, but only small benches at the soccer. So if you have a game there, bring chairs Dog-friendliness There are beautiful paths for a walk

Always quiet, not too many people know about this place. Plenty of paved and unpaved trails. Plenty of times I've spotted deer and other wild animals. Also park management takes great care of the park. Once I've spotted a fallen tree and stop by to report it. Within 30 minutes it was cleaned up. Park also gets sprayed against mosquito very frequently. I would recommend this park to everyone.

Nice park with access to the Clinton River trials. Great to bring a bike and ride to downtown Utica, Dodge Park or just trail ride to your hearts content or just take a leasurely stroll.

Had a fun time with the grandkids but some of the steps were too tall for the 2 year old. Every thing else was great. Clean park, good parking.

Clean, conveniently located, and lots to do for all ages! We rented the pavilion and the staff came by to change garbages often. Very pleasant experience!

Great park! Never crowded! Brand new basketball Rims n blacktop, along with a brand new beach-type volleyball court! Only drawback is the fact that the bathrooms and drinking fountains are out of order. Nice little playground for the kids. Also a nice trail running around the woodlands of the park. Good probably for dog walks or just fitness for yourself! I visit this park on a regular basis and like I said never crowded!

This is a nice little park with a playground and some much appreciated single person bathrooms. The bathrooms were clean, although the ladies room was out of soap. It has a connection to the clinton river trail.
