Well-fenced area with size something like 3/4 a football field. Just big enough so that you can pretty easily keep your dog separate from another by playing at opposite ends, but you can see the whole area from most anywhere within. There is a narrow band of trees/shrubs along hill on one side where dogs can run up and down in a more interesting terrain. Entrances on both ends, and nice paved trail along river just outside park, if you want to do a cool-off leash walk with your pup after the park.

A wonderful park right in the city. There are usually several dogs there, but never overcrowding. Park is well maintained and usually not super muddy or dusty like other city dog parks in the area

It's a cute little park. My dog is 14 and it was big enough for him to walk around once and get tired. I saw to younger dogs chasing each other and having fun. It's a very flat surface. They do require a permit to use though.

This place makes my dog so happy. As with all dog parks, be careful and observant. Wonderful community and well maintained.

5 out of my 6 last visits all gates have been co.pletely open. This is a regular thing. I dont blame the park for this but it is a problem. What I do blame on the parks department is the lack of maintinance. Its like pulling teeth getting them to mow anything and all they will do is the front entry and leave all the burs and thistles and wild overgrowth in lside. The entry design is horrid and come late fall through spring can be very slippery and dangerous. The park requires a permit but if you read the print when trying to get one online you give up any and all copyrights by agreeing. This does not specify or limit itself in the claim. Quite often broken glass from break ins out front. If it wasnt on the way to work I would skip it.

We totally loved this dog park. Big enough for pups to run but small enough to keep an eye on them. Mostly lots of respectful owners. It’s a great place to meet neighbors! There is a slightly overgrown/wooded incline on the side of the park that the dogs like to romp in. The flat ground is mostly covered by wood chips which helps to keep it a bit less muddy. The area could be improved by with additional mulching. The gate is broken and difficult to move (especially with a snow pack, which I’m guessing caused the issue in the first place), but it keeps the dogs in. The biggest draw back to this park are the many, many, partially destroyed, tennis balls lurking in the wood chips. Every time we’d go our dog would discover at least a handful of rubber bits. Eventually he developed a taste for these and required major surgery to have a large piece removed from his gut. In all the times I went to the dog park, I never saw an owner allow a dog to destroy a tennis ball and leave the pieces in the park but clearly that happens. If your dog is less disposed to eating tennis balls, than visit and have a great time!

This is a conveniently located dog park for myself and our puppy - Leo. My partner and I both love that you can sit and see the entire dog park (to keep an eye on Leo). But it’s not too small that he can’t run around and get all of that energy out. They have two entrances with amble free parking on all of the streets.

This is one of our favorite dog parks to go to. It is a decent size maybe 1.5 acres with a lot of trees and shade. This park can get muddy if there is a lot of rain or snow melt but there is usually a thick layer of wood chips. Bring water! There is no convenient water source. There is a spigot near the river side gate but it is not always on. This park is relatively busy and you can almost always find at least one other dog there. I will warn though… there are quite a few of very strange and particular owners that frequent this park. I have seen multiple dog fights, untrained dogs, and owners here, but we usually just leave if things get weird.

Fairly open and nice dogs/people, but it was very dirty (could use a later of mulch) and lots of burrs.
