Nice park with a fenced off leash area for dogs, playground for kids and grassy areas for all.

Laser show on most evenings... Lots to see make your dinner reservations ahead of time when you're in this area. Take a river boat tour too!

Play structure is too nerfed with uselessly slow slides, children need a certain amount of danger and excitement to learn proper risk assessment, too-safe environments inhibit this learning. Mary Bartholomew park to the South has a still-safe but better play structure for toddlers.

Love this park. It has a large grassy area, playground, and a great dog park for you to bring your pups. I come here all of the time and it’s always a great experience. Only complaint is that the dog park only has one small bench and it’s a pretty popular park so often times everyone just has to stand around.

Close to home and dog friendly. One thought: Hey, folks. If you see obvious trash on the ground, would it kill you to pick it up and toss it into the waste receptacle? It might even help a sense of community to grow. Gotta love Chicago.

My little one and I have enjoyed going to this park. Pretty walkable from the West Loop, plus there's a Jewel Osco just up the street, excellent twofer trip. Wish it had more baby swings but otherwise it's great. The play area has a gate that separates it from the dogs and the roads, and, as an adult, the gate is not easily opened and creaks loudly. Makes it hard for baby to get out, and if they are The Hulk and manage it...loooud creak alarm. Check it out with your baby or child (good for dogs there too).

Great little park in the city. In the summer they have movies in the park here. There is a a play lot for the kids to climb, swing & slide. There is also a separate dog park too. Great views of the city with the Metra train going by plus free smells of bloomer's chocolate and a Jewel store where you can grab items for lunch. In fact, we've made a picnic with buying items at Jewel before coming here.

Great place to walk take a bicycle with you or just sit along the riverside and enjoy the view it gets a little harsh in winter with small kids. But it’s very ideal in summertime downtown Chicago

Gone to a quick , a particularly delightful normal setting!!! The redwoods are lovely with the sun topping through, so quiet and tranquil. Dazzling, simply beautiful.

Officially known as "Park 551", this location is better known as "Fulton River Park" and features a nice, small playground on a terraced site. The playground features two play structures: a smaller one for younger children and a larger one for older children with a variety of slides and accessible by a ramp. There is also a small set of standard swings. The play area is fully enclosed and features a soft rubber surface. There are a few benches and a drinking fountain in the play area that is shaded by trees and neighboring buildings. This park is also near the Bloomer Chocolate Company (making it a great smelling park!) and near several active train lines (making it a great spot for kids that love trains!). All in all, a solid neighborhood park and playground.
