Glenview Park

It's a friendly little park with a walking and jogging path, basketball courts, a little jungle gym and swing area for the kids, there's parking in front off Lamar and also in the back off of Kyle Street which is where I stay across the street from the park, I'm not sure of any programs they have for the children as far as nursery school or stuff like that. But it's a nice clean little park and a residential neighborhood that is slowly building back up with homes being purchased and remodeled,! But I see people there everyday walking the path or walking their dogs, see a basketball game now and again with the local kids around, I've been staying here a little over a year now and haven't seen or heard of any bad incidences happening at this park. It would be a great park for birthday parties and stuff like that cuz it's never really crowded and it's kept up very well!

Friendly Neighbors.Children place to play, very educational,concerned attentive staff. Children feel safe and supportive when here. My kids come often.Thanks For what you do for the Community

I visited Glenview Park to just sit and admire. I must say that it was quite, beautiful, and clean! It was truly a nice experience! A few people were walking the trail, and the only noise was a train, and that was not bad at all! Truly enjoyed myself!

Great park with lots of history, if you are aware, find the spiritual oak tree, it's roots are shaped like a Kings seat Sit in it and listen for a few minutes

Not the biggest park but there are area for kids and basketball court and baseball area. I would just consider your surroundings at times and if you do happen to pull in by the gym lot after the gym is closed and you see a whole lot of cars with dudes walking around it would probably be best to quickly, yet respectfully lol, turn around and go to the other entrance and leave them be.

My absolutely favorite park to enjoy. Such a nice space for a jog, walk, or play. I enjoy looking at the variety of trees that are on display. I really love that they put informative plaques to tell you about the tree. The playground is well maintained and they have shelters for gatherings. I feel safe with the open space and security. I highly recommend this park if you want a nice adventure.

I grew up in glenview park. Now I go back to chip golf balls and it is peaceful and relaxing. My way to unwind. Playground Excellent playground for the kids. Restrooms Porta potty was on-sight. Dog-friendliness Very pet friendly. Picnic area There are areas designated for family gatherings.

The park was clean and everyone had a wonderful time the grass had been recently mowed it was taken care of and a wonderful experience

I stay not too far away from this place. Since I've known about this park I can't say anything negative about it. Always quiet and clean when I walk around the area, they have separate areas in the park for different activities, and whether it be for kids or adults the togetherness this area brings is awesome. They have indoor and outdoor activities during summer camp. They go on several field trips also. The staff knows how to keep the children busy. We have been there the last 2 maybe 3 or 4 summers for summers and have never had a problem. Love your pets and use this as a summer camp. 8:00 till 5:30.
