Gretna Dog Park

Nice, large space for my large dog, and a nice cute space for my lil dog. When we went there, there was only one other dog.

I only went there once and it looked pretty nice. I like how they separate the small dogs from the big dogs, however this lady comes with 2 small dogs and goes in to the big dog section and of course the dogs over there attacked her dogs. I got so scared I left

Great dog park in Gretna. There is a large play area for dogs with tunnels, jumps and agility obstacles. There is also a smaller area for small dogs to play without concern from the bigger dogs. Both areas have benches to relax while fido plays. There is even a stocked doggie wash area, just in case fido got muddy while playing. The park is still a hidden gem and not that busy. Your dog will enjoy the park.

A very nice dog park in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of stuff for dogs to run through or over.very good size park plus it has a small dog section also.

Fun for all dogs. Obstacles and tubes and plenty of play area for dogs. Also a small dog park fenced off from larger dog park. There are 3 different fenced areas to let your dog play. Amazing site!

I love this dog park! Well maintained and never crowded. And It’s in a quiet neighborhood . Good experience for dog and owner . 😊 so …the above review was before I met the old lady wine club. There’s a group of clearly very bored old women that bring their chairs and their gossip. Watch out for the taller dark with grey hair one . She has decided she is the boss of the park. She orders everyone around and spreads lies about peoples dogs. She shows up and starts right away. Dumping the pool even when dogs are playing in it and picking up toys that she can’t stand seeing on the ground. A total control freak and really ruins the vibe of the place. She’s there most evenings. She needs to get a life.

It is a nice park, but could be better and would love to see made a little nicer so more dogs would be there more often. Also, sometimes they let the grass get too long.

Perfect place for all canines! There are two separate fenced sections, one for small dogs, the other medium and large. Plenty of running room in both, fun obstacles in both, well stocked with poop bags and water.

Dr. Reidell and her staff always take great care of my boy. She is knowledgeable and doesn't push unnecessary items or tests. I'm a first time dog owner and can't tell you how happy I am taking my puppy there. She even called me personally to check on my post on pupper.

There were puddles after so much rain, which was perfect for my puddle-jumping pooch. He had a blast. Before getting into the car, we did a quick wash with supplies generously donated, and all was well. I love the community feel at this park that I haven't felt at others.

This place helped me find a foster dog a home.

Brought my dogs here and it was nice but seemed boring on the small dog side. A lady brought her medium sized dog into the large dog area and two large dogs of different breeds attacked this poor dog. Those dog owners didn’t care at all nor ask the lady if her dog was alright. I was shocked at how rude they were and the lack of empathy they had- they seemed like they “owned/ran the place” with their attitudes.

My pup had a blast. There's lots of room for her to run around. Other dog parks we go to usually have a big dirt/mud patch that my dog loves to roll around in. Was thankful there wasn't one in this park. It's nice and upkept. If your dog does get dirty There's a hose. Also pet water fountains. There's two separate areas for big and small dogs, too.

Nice, quiet and secure dog park that is segregated allowing larger breeds to be separated from smaller breeds. My first visit is in the beginning of July, but there was a nice breeze under the shade tree. Due to excessive rain in the area, the grass was a bit overgrown, but overall good place for my puppy to roam and explore.

Great place to talk and let the dogs play. Always have people here, very clean, and completely gated with a large dog and small dog areas. Gretna keeps the grass and tress trimmed. Located by the new pond, walking trails, and pavilion. Great place to unwind, very quiet neighbor hood. Playground for dogs yes. Restrooms no restrooms at this area of the park.

Separate areas for big and small dogs, water fountains and bowls, some agility equipment. Access is not restricted so it can be crowded and you should be very mindful of your dogs if it is. Shy dogs can be overwhelmed and I've seen aggressive dogs who should not have been here on two separate occasions, though neither stayed very long. Community tends to be friendly, good atmosphere. My terrier always makes lots of friends

We are very pleased with how well kept this dog park is. The other dogs are well mannered.Baylee had the best time. Hope to make regular visits.

My dog loves sniffing around this place even when there are no other dogs there. Definitely recommend if you have a dog friendly dog.
