Hampton Park Dog Run

Great dog park that I have coming to for many years with my pup. Plenty of free parking. Small convenience store across the street to grab a snack or drink. Usually a good bit of activity and other dogs to socialize with. Pretty large park so plenty of room to run. There are a number of benches for seating. Has a dog friendly water fountain. I was dissaponted to see that they had cut down the three large trees that were in the park, so all of the shade now comes from trees lining the fence around the park.

One large area for pups of all sizes. Not much grass, so it’s is very muddy after rain. Plenty of trees fur shade. Benches, water spigot, and waste bags available. No restroom for two- legs. Would stop again if in the area.

Nice park & very well kept. Has bush lines for dogs to run around in & a huge opened fenced dog park. Has a water pump system for dogs to drink out of. Never encountered any problems with other dogs, owners of dog friendly & very responcible. Benches to sit on & has shaded areas. They supply doggy bags as well. All you have to do is bring your dog(s)!

Dog park was clean and had mulch, grass, benches and water fountains for furry friends and humans.

Biggest park on the peninsula. The enclosed dog park area has a lot of rocks and almost no grass, so it can be tough on dogs with sensitive paws. The rest of the park is great for walking dogs on the leash though.

My doggo had a blast! At this park! So many friendly furries energetic! Wore him out! Just running and running!! He had the biggest smiles hours after. Some mud puddles. Some trees and bush to explore in lots of dogs the park it's self no buetiful but the guest make up for that. Had several benches, water faucet, bag dispenser,

Great space downtown to let your pup run off leash.

Not the prettiest park, but there always seem to be dogs here so your pup will never be bored. Plenty of parking, tennis balls and poop bags.

Its a fenced in dirt pit.. no grass, no obstacles for the dogs, no water source. No shade. If it rains its a big mud pit. It works to let the dogs run off leash. but thats it.

First visit today. Would be decent if 50 loads of wood chips were to be added. Huge expanses of bare dirt. Would be unusable in anything other than dry weather. On a more positive note, there is a nice water fountain for the pups.

Our girls had never been to a dog park and this was a perfect place for them to run. It's on the other side of the ball park away from Hampton park proper. We'll definitely bring them back when we visit this area again.

Plenty of space for dogs to run! Plenty of parking in the lot or street parking. There are at least 5 benches to enjoy in the shade or sun. There's a bowl for water with a water pump and poop bag dispensers. We'll be back often!

Amazing dog park, was not crowded at all when we went! The park is huge and great for dogs to run, which our dogs love to run so this was perfect! There is a lot of dirt which if rainy could be muddy I'm sure, but it is a dog park! Dogs don't care they just want to get out and play!

Visited while vacationing in the area. Clean and plenty of shade. My little dog enjoyed herself & even though it's open for all dog sizes, we didn't feel intimidated by the larger dogs there.

Best Dog Park in Charleston!!! Lots of space for the dogs to explore and run, and access to water. Great place, Good people and good dogs. Lets Keep it that way:)

Great park to go to before sundown. Lots of dogs there, pretty clean, lots of room for multiple dogs to play. Owners seemed responsible and under control of their dogs.

Small, friendly dog park. One water fountain, only about 5 dogs there which was nice. One dog kept humping mine...they eventually left. I'd go back again.

Not sure where FlatStalker was but it wasn't the dog park proper. The dog park is fenced in and has been for at least the past 6 years. There are several benches located around the perimeter of the park and one large tree and several smaller trees provides some shade. Also plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot, although if there's a ball game going on the lot can get pretty full. Its a great little dog park to let the dogs run around in.

A terrific dog run - large, nicely shaded, friendly people and dogs. And of course the park next to it is beautiful for on leash walking .

We rescued our first dog in March 2018, and this was our first trip to SC. I never heard that dogs have a park? So, we took our dog and he was in heaven playing with other dogs. The place is very well maintained, and every dog owner was very pleased and happy seeing their dogs being happy.
