Today was my first visit since we had actually signed up to be part of this part. Outlaw had a blast it was a little too humid for his liking so he got lazy pretty quick and we weren't there more than 15 minutes. I will say though I can't wait to go back again with him this was our first time and environment where other dogs were and he did super awesome he played and even drink out of the same water bowl. The park itself was very nice! The grass was cut, plenty of dog bags and lots of space for roaming.

A great place to bring your dog. Completely closed in with water and lots of doggie waste bags. People are friendly and so are the dogs!

Horrible! Whomever states that this dog park is open to the public is 100%wrong! It's a $33year membership and it's not privately owned so our taxes are paying for this yet we need membership!??

My dog loves this dog park. It is split into two parts for big and small dogs. The division is at 40 lbs.

The BARC Park is amazing. Totally worth the small annual fee. They have a large (+30 lbs.) and small dog park, so whatever your furry friend's size, there's a place for you. Our pup is classified as small, so she can go into either park, which we do, depending on which park has pups in it. Don't worry: she's got "big dog" energy. We started going and the other fur-parents made us feel right at home. Rarely, if ever, is the park in a bad condition. Although the grass can get a little high in the summer, it's no worse than walking around the neighborhood. The Baltimore County staff keeps the park in reasonable shape considering the large size. The only downside is parking. The lot is dedicated for BARC Park members, but other people have a tendency to take over the parking for other events in the area. Not sure what, if anything, can be done there short of having the vehicles towed away. This is only a problem during football season and only after school hours. It's an inconvenience, but not a deal breaker. The application process has gotten even easier with a new website and quick approval process. We plan on signing back up in February (the year for the park runs Feb-Jan) for another year of fun for our little one. Dog-friendliness Agility equipment in both parks, down-low water fountains for four-footed friends, and strategically placed bag stations make this an excellent park for pups and people.

Very glad it's so close to home so I can get my dog some exercise and socialization... just wish people would follow the rules - not bring dogs who aren't fixed, better supervise and cleanup after their dog, and not bring their own toys to avoid any aggression over them.

Looks like a fun dog park, but I didn't realize beforehand that it's members only. $40 per dog. I'll pass.

The park is large, but where most dogs end up congregating is near the gate and it is just a big mud pit. I would have to bathe my dog every time I take him to the park. Not worth it.

Plenty of room to run. There is a hose, 2 horse troughs, and plenty of water bowls. It's a good spot to socialize while our pups do the same.

Not a great place to bring your dog. The park rules are ignored. Most owners do not monitor their dogs. Lots of unchecked pack mentality, barking and growling. We were rushed by three large dogs as soon as we opened the gate. The owners were off talking amongst eachother while their dogs ran into the bullpin area. Tons of dog waste. I saw a sick animal with pretty severe diarrhea. I was growled at by two dogs. And the large dog side is a giant mud pit. This is unlike any dog park I've been at. It might be good if you are part of the click and your dog is a part of the pack. It's not for newcomers.

Owners are not cognizant of their dogs becoming aggressive and act nonchalant when they are a problem. Went in the same day I registered, made it through the gate, got ambushed by aggressive dogs, my dog got bit, left within minutes. Reported to the Resisterstown Rec Council, they responded in a timely manner, but the BARC Park admin is making it difficult to receive my money back, as I will never go into a facility that is unsafe for my dog and myself.

Excellent place to bring your pets to socialize with other dogs. It is a nice park with lots of running room. It also has an area for small dog.

My two Huskies love the Barc Park. The other dogs and owners are very friendly. I've only had a couple of instances with other dogs (I mean, they're dogs right?) The only complaint that I have is the communication is severely lacking. I haven't seen any communication when the PIN for the lock changes or when events like COVID close the park.

Huge disappointment. I drove all the way here just to find out it's members only. I can't go anywhere else due to everything closing at 8 and it being 7:30. Why make a dog park members only?! It's stupid. It's ~$30 to register and you can't even do that without doing it beforehand and waiting for your code to be allowed in.

This place has such a great community of people. They have really helped me learn how to be a better dog mama. The area is well kept and everyone is good about picking up after their pup. It's my fur babies favorite place... I imagine it's like Cheers for canines. Playground Child playground in on premises but children can not be in dog park area. Restrooms None available, bring water and bowl for dogs Dog-friendliness Dogs welcome but can't jump up on you or be agressive. Picnic area On premises 0:06
