Happy Tails Dog Park - Summit

I came at noon, directions were horrible. There are no doggie pop bags. It’s so deserted it’s scary. There’s no clear indication of where the dog park is so I almost took the trail. No shade and the benches look super old. I don’t recommend. 0:09

haven't been here yet, but for those mentioning the extra poop left by irresponsible owners and the poop bag dispenser being empty, why don't you all bring extra plastic shopping bags to help clean up and supply the empty dispenser??? yes it sucks that not everyone keeps an eye out on their pups so it takes a community of responsible owners to help with the upkeep of a dog park. we all know most dog parks probably aren't consistently maintained by the city/suburbs/park districts. too bad it isn't run like Jackson Bark. now that place has a dedicated person who built and maintained that park from left over discarded recycled materials and signs. i'm sure there are at least a few owners like myself who assist in cleaning up. do better people.

Nice natural grass area, shaded place for owners,kinda small, no dogs there when I went but it was ok for me since I have two dogs that can play together, seems like a good low key place for ur dogs to be off leash

Our pup loved the open fenced in area. It wasn’t much of a “park” as an open running field. There were two areas to choose from. Plenty of parking as well. It was also very clean. Slightly muddy but it’s spring time. Dog-friendliness It was friendly.

Lots of room, 2 areas one smaller than the other gates are good wish they had more activities though, typically grass is clean

It has two fenced-in areas to run your dog. Private. They have to fill an area that was dug out under fence.

Pretty nice secluded place. My dog loved the new smells and meeting a new dog, it was the first time at a dog park for her!

I actually don't walk my dogs in the gated part of the park but the paths are nice and my dogs love the walk around the forested areas. Nice place to go for pleasure

The park was very clean and really spacious I just hoped that there had been more dogs here

Happy that it was free but, worse park I been too. Very muddy and slippery, not clean, couldn't even go inside because of how much water and mud was surrounding it. Won't be coming here again.

I like this dog park, it’s kind of out of the way, secluded a little bit.. not usually that busy .

I like the park it has to sections of fencing. Yes it muddy but what do you expect from a dog park. I don’t mean. There was some dog poop, so please pick up after your dog take poop bag I took a whole Roll of bag and left it for others to use.

Met up with a puppy school classmate for a playdate. The park was clean, stocked with pick up bags and empty. Our puppies had a great time and met a couple new friends. There were 2 sections to play in which was nice. This was a great place to take the dogs.

Always great to visit. Clean, organized, and safe. It is always a pleasure to enjoy the magic of nature there. The staff members keep it open on time despite the weather. Respectful staff. Thank You!

I would love for this to be renovated where there's less mud and a water fountain for the dogs. There also needs to be rules placed since I guess not everyone knows common dog park decency like cleaning up after your dogs and to make sure your pets are neutered! We used to take our dog here all the time but someone continues to bring their unneutered male which causes aggression (one Google search will tell you all). There needs to be more responsible pet owners...

We took our eighth month puppy to the dog park for the first time. I was impressed that there are actually two yards to this park. I wasn’t impressed by the up keep of the park. The box for doggy bags and such were empty. It look as though it hasn’t been attended to for a while. There was also garbage in the park. There was several piles of dog waste here and there. I would probably blame that on the inconsiderate dog owners who spoil for the rest of us.I will be going back. Hopefully the experience will be a little bit better.

I enjoy taking my dog for walks at this park, particularly on the walking trail. However, it would be great if people could be more responsible and pick up after their dogs. Maybe installing eco friendly bag dispensers could help with this issue? I appreciate the enclosed small and large divided dog areas where my dog can play freely. My only concern is that it tends to get quite muddy, especially after rainy or snowy days. I hope the park district can address this problem soon. Despite this, it's a spacious park perfect for enjoying some fresh air with your furry friend." Playground Playground and skateboard park is located on the grounds. Restrooms Restrooms are located in the center of the park. Picnic area A covered picnic area with benches is located near the restrooms.
