• Dbl gate safety entrance so dogs can't escape (if ppl use correctly/have common courtesy/mindfulness towards others coming & going). •Large grassed, fenced area w/some dirt/muddy areas. • Great lighting • Good (late) hours (open until 11pm) • Nice neutral location for SN County residents • Decent parking, but can get congested during peak hours. • Nothing for dogs to do if no other dogs are present... like obstacle course/tunnel & 'pools' they used to have! • There are tennis balls if you search grass, but typically nasty & mowed over. I advise bringing 1 each time you go if your dog likes to fetch (& plan on leaving it there). • Water fountain (when working). I bring bowl & water to have available as needed. (Bring water in winter season as fountain is shut off). • No walking path/trail like other dog parks I've been to. * See other info regarding dogs/park. I no longer bring my dog when others are present due to the violent/bully nature of several unwatched 'regular' dogs. Playground Nothing for dogs to run through (they took out tunnels/obstacle course they used to have). I always bring balls or a toys I don't mind losing or having others playing with. Restrooms None Dog-friendliness - Unfortunately, it got to where every time I was there, a fight broke out with someone's dogs, so I no longer bring my dog if any other dogs are there (which is unfortunate bc he LOVED running/ playing with the other dogs. - Several 'regulars' have told me the same aggressive dogs are brought back to the park repeatedly, despite being unwatched & start fights every time they are there. - Frustrating when the same dog repeatedly humps/attaches themselves to various dogs; without the owner doing anything to redirect them (despite seeing actions). This is unacceptable bc dogs & owners can't play & enjoy themselves. Picnic area Good hours. Great lighting. Paved/covered area with a few picnic tables, as well as free standing tables.

One of the nicest dog parks that I've ever been to. Very clean. Lots of grass and large area to run around. Friendly locals that I met around sunset time when it was crazy hot here. Highly recommend Dog-friendliness Can't be any more. Possibly dog friendly

Great for meeting new doggy friends. We have a small and a medium sized pair of dogs. The park is divided into two with different sides of the park fenced off for specific sizes. Our dogs LOVE it. Playground There is an established playground at the far. It is across from the Zoo. Restrooms Limited to porta-johns. Dog-friendliness Extremely dog friendly. Great place to get the zoomies out. Picnic area There is a covered picnic area with tables and benches. WARNING! Wash hands before entering dog park or YOU WILL MAKE SO MANY NEW DOG FRIENDS!

This was a great place for my dog!! She loved it. She was able to be off leash. They have two different parks, one for small dogs and the second for larger dogs. Bring your own water because the drinking fountains are all turned off.

Do wish that they had some kind of a swimming pool or a little pond or something for the dogs to get into because they get really hot

Best dog park I've ever been to. They've added shades over benches and new agility equipment. They have running water fountains for owner and dog. They also have 2 sections, one for larger dogs and the other for small dogs. This is the most actively attended dog park I've ever seen; the regulars are so friendly and welcoming! If you want to socialize your dog this is the place to do it! :D

This dog park is okay. Lots of space to run and plenty of places for people to sit. My biggest complaint is the sheer number of intact dogs that are at the park. The intact males are aggressive towards my dog and others than neutered males and the intact females get bullied alot even if they are not in heat. I wish there was a ruling to keep intact dogs out of the park if they are under a year of age or something. Other than that it is a great place.

Great dog park! there's park rules but unregulated, enter at you own risk is an understatement sometimes. Most of the time though it's friendly fun with the dogs 🙂 Really really busy during spring/fall on mild days. After a good rain fall the park gets extra muddy. Weekdays busiest between 5-7pm. Weekends busiest early-mid afternoon. …

Took our puppy (16 week old lab) there and it was nice except for some people don't watch their dogs and they will bite and attack other dogs. Which I was told isn't allowed. They also had no collar so no proof of shots or anything. Very unsafe. Other than that alot of nice people there and other dogs were very friendly and played extremely well with our puppy. It just takes some people to ruin a good opportunity for others. Alot of people were complaining about the same dogs as I was. We had to watch our dogs carefully.

It's a nice park. Too many people don't clean up after their pets or watch their dogs.. I've seen alot of pitbulls that cause fights. Everyday there is atleast 1 aggressive dog or more and the owner does nothing.. fix your pets it's usually ones that's aren't neutered or spayed thats an issue! Other than that I like the park.

We brought out little dog here, she is deaf and going blind in one eye. She had a great time sniffing every where. She actually wanted to make friends with a couple of dogs. That's unusual for her. The people at the park were very friendly and looking out for everyone's dogs. It was a great time.

I have tried to make this dog park work due to a new puppy so he can get out some energy, but each attempt is very stressful. Most of the owners do not even watch their dogs. There is always a dog fight at one point or another during EACH visit. If I wasn't with my dog he would of been attacked a couple times, but I managed situation. There are intact dogs trying to hump everything in sight. There are owners who literally sit and watch their dogs fight and do nothing or even seem to care. Those are the nice ones, others get confrontational. One owner literally held his pitbull on it's back legs choking him to behave, it's a dangerous bark park.....PLEASE PLEASE avoid this park like the plague. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to leave one for this disaster of a dog park. Enter at own risk.....

Clean and comfy the handful of times we've been, there are always nice folks hanging out with their dogs. There are chairs and shade for the humans. For the dogs, lots of places to run and explore, fresh water and lots of pets.

It's a large dog park in a grassy field with a few trees. Problem is there is no one there! Highly recommend the city park folk make it prettier and as a paved walking path around the perimeter. That and adding a small dog area would be nice too!

THE PARK IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE. Looks like a very nice park but when we got there, they had signs and locks on the doors saying both sides were closed for maintenance. We were passing through so we walked our dogs along the nice sidewalk paths they have near a pond instead!

A cool feature another dog owner pointed out was a pet ID chip reader for anyone to use in the event there is a dog they might like to read the chi p of a lost pet. Instructikns and all. Kinda cool.
