One of the smaller hilltop parks in Bernal Heights, which gives a decent view of Twin Peaks and the surrounding area. When I visited, there were a bunch of owls up in a tree!

A cool little park. It's just off the Cross Town trail and in my opinion should have been a stop. Great views from the top, plenty of benches. Apparently lax enforcement of the dog policy on the field when no one's playing ball. Lots of benches and picnic tables around. Not crowded on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June.

Very nice small quiet park. They have a gate to make sure the kids won't run out and if you're paying attention no one should kidnap them. There is a toddler side and "big" kid side. You can bbq there and play basketball

Beautiful park in Bernal Heights! Great hidden playground with 2 sections: one designed for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. Athletic facilities: basketball, little baseball diamond, etc. Nice walking paths and panoramic views of the City and Bay. Holly Park is also part of a sign-guided nature walk that traverses the area.

Love walking little dogs, dogs in recovery, dogs who socialize, dogs learning to heel... Children's space. Casual basketball & tennis. Windy on windy days. Warm on warm days. It's a Holly jolly park.

A wonderful island of calm in the middle of the city. I like to come here early in the morning for a walk and to view the sunrise. The 24 Divisedero bus stops a block away on Cortland Ave and there are many good restaurants and cafes to get a hit beverage or meal after exploring the park.

What a cute little park! It has a restroom that's clean, a basketball court, and a kids' playground. My dog had a great time meeting other dogs.

Gawan stumbled upon a wonderful circular mound in the center of the peninsula city. With western views of Twin Peaks, Sutro heights and Eastern views of the Bay and Hunters point, the carefully coiffed landscape gives the passing stranger a sense of belonging to the natural habitat of the red tailed hawk and common leopard butterfly. Robins dance about the grass grubbing for worms while dog walkers on leash follow their dogs in a circle about the park. Edged with mighty eucalyptus and Monterey Pines and tasteful above ground planters, Gawan found many sites to enjoy. Blue oak, flannel bush and California lilac are just a few of the many joyous plantings waiting to welcome visitors! Enjoy !
