Lots of different trail entrances! Plus a small playground for kids.

The park itself is nice. But Aurora PD were circling the park menacingly when I was there. They were literally driving on the grass and down the walking path (side walk.) Afterward hanging out in the parking lot for a bit they screeched their tires when leaving on a call.

Very beautiful park! I just hate seeing trash and litter in the rivers, we should be keeping our parks clean and tidy! Bunch of chunky prairie dogs scattered throughout the park, love to see that! Beautiful birds were seen as well.

Huge open park, with 2 baseball fields, a playground, open areas and prairie dog hills. If you're a biker, it connects with quite a few trail systems (Highline Canal, Powerline Train, Cherry Creek Spillway & more) and leads to Treadz, Peak 2 Peak Taphouse, and more. Lots of wildlife in the bushes. Birdhouses all over, and hawks constantly circling. Fox, coyotes, raccoons and even beavers and the occasional deer. Walk with caution near dusk. Good for bird watching. Accessible from Iliff or north on Mexico.

I love the upgrade on this park. They have added new safer playground equipment, and so many more options for the children to play on. My favorite factor is they've added swings for all ages and a cool meri-go-round. We visit this park a lot since it is right around the corner for us. Playground It is a wonderful upgrade from 2022. A lot more play options, for kids of all ages, and much safer too. Restrooms There is a port-a-potty style bathroom across the parking lot from the park, just next to ballfield. Dog-friendliness Dogs are welcome, it seems. I see people bring their dogs all the time, and I have not seen any "no dogs allowed" signs. Picnic area There are two picnic tables, and a couple of park benches. The only thing with the picnic tables is that they're not actually covered. They have slotted cover tops, so it helps a little with sun coverage, but you will get wet if it rains. 0:18

This park is beautiful. The floor is rubber and they have cool swings. There is a lot of shaded areas and they have a few picnic tables. Definitely a must to visit with the kiddos !

I loved this park- every morning, for the last 8 years, we've walked the trails. It was beautiful- we'd see wildlife, deer, lonely bucks, coyotes. It was beautiful and peaceful. Now the city focuses on the playground and indeed they keep the paths clear of snow very fast. But that's the only good thing. There is trash and brocken glass and human waste from Mississippi all the way down to Illif. The water is dirty, there are homeless people camping everywhere, started small, then the tents came, now bringing their trucks into the grass. No more deer, no more beauty, the coyotes were pushed towards the ballfield and they don't seem afraid of humans anymore. No more hawks, no more bird watchers... trash after an event at the ball fields is there for days , being blown by the wind. Broken glass everywhere- so be careful when walking your dogs, grass fires , dirty and unsafe crossing at Mexico ( broken glass everywhere, trash, weird traffic signal that drivers do not respect ( it's 15sec, people!), speeding drivers, the bike lane collects trash and is unusable, huge patches of ice right at the crossing and on the trail in spots - plenty people had taken falls there . Grocery carts in the river, trash and waste everywhere, one Ranger patrolling (whom I believe is in charge of 10 parks), no police whatsoever.

Great place to walk your dog as there are a couple of paved trails. It’s my favorite park to walk my dog. Perhaps it’s the time I go there (early morning or around noon), but it always seems quiet. There are plenty of dog bag stations to dispose of pet waste. The other dog walkers, runners, and cyclists that use this park regularly are very friendly.

Beautiful area and well maintained. My dog loves walking around the loop every day. And the surrounding trails are lovely as well.
