Great dog park in a great part of town. Gets relatively busy so it provides a great opportunity for your dog to socialize and play. The water fountain is always a bonus as well! Had separate facilities for large and small dogs. Most of the soft surfaces are AstroTurf except around the trees so you don’t have to worry about your dog getting all muddy even if it’s a little damp

Only one other owner there on a Thursday afternoon which was fine for my 6 month old puppy. He mentioned there's normally more owners there with large dogs. There are two separate parks large dogs or senior dogs but no area for small dogs. covid restrictions say only 5 at a time if I'm remembering that right, the park is big enough for social distancing with many benches. My dog loved it and I thought it was decent besides the area that it's in. A little sketchy. Pretty clean. Poop bags offered. Lots of room for my puppy to have the time of her life.

I love the park but liked it better when humans could go to it or at least sit down near there. I don't understand why Baltimore is spending it's taxpayers money on creating dog parks in areas where gentrification is growing in volume, but yet close recreational centers in areas that need them the most. Not only that, but there is not enough green spaces for human beings to enjoy as it is in these increasingly dense spaces, cluttered with stores & gentrified nonsense. On second thought, I've stayed in Mount Vernon for a period of time, and maybe it's more important to have a space where owners can concentrate on their dog's play & waste management. Because Lord knows, that without a space to go to, to incite their own social guilt among "peers" in a confined space, they would never pick up their dog's dirty business. They never do. A true Mount Vernon favorite pastime.💗😶🙏

There is a smaller small dog area and a larger big dog area. On the weekend there are many dogs of all sizes in the big dog area. The park has a water fountain for dogs in each area and trash cans. There is an entrance on either side of each area and an entrance between the two areas. There is a little bit of turf but mostly stone and paved surfaces in both areas. The big dog area has plenty of shady trees but the small dog area is mostly open to the sun.

A bit messy/polluted, to the extent that I must constantly keep an eye on my dog to make sure that he does not eat any debris or material. We usually can get the park to ourselves during less common times, which is the primary benefit of this smaller and less well taken care of public dog park.

I'm neutral about this place because I don't have a dog. That said, it seems to get good use and the folks and the dogs I see there seem to be having a good time. There's a section fenced off for senior dogs and also one for large dogs. Nice little oasis in the city for dog people.

Good park, the pet owners are nice and respectful. With that said, be aware, there is a lot of 💩 around, and the water fountain in the large dog part (as of 3.12.25) is an operable. Regardless of these two things I think it's a good park for a dog to go meet and play and run around and get their energy out …

Came here last year with my dog infrequently but it was super clean and spacious for him. Today I came here and am disgusted. Bird poop everywhere and coating all of the four benches making them unuseable. The trash cans are so overfilled that there is a jenga tower of poop bags on the top. Not to mention a broken water fountain wasting a ton of water and creating a bird poop sewer creek that runs through one of the main gates. Was this park abandoned by the city? It's so bad.

Whoever owns the park--private or city, needs to take care of this park. No one picks up after their dogs and it's full of droppings. The water fountain has run continuously for AT LEAST 2.5 years (how long I've had my dog) and it has wasted so so so much water in a city that claims environmental consciousness. It is not the responsibility of the neighborhood to clean up after each other and occasional visitors. There are no cleaning supplies, no doggie bags, and no way to at least hose down the brick and fake grass for us to be able to even maintain the park's upkeep even if we wanted to. I live one block over that I can not take my dog here anymore, which is sad because he's made the bestest of friends here.

Looooove this My daughter got a rescue puppy over the summer, He's a brindle lab mix We found out about the dog park from a neighbor who invited us to bring our Bruno while he was taking his female pup ( she 2 is a mix breed/ pit bull mix, also a rescue pup) They both enjoyed the dog park. Actually my first time ever experiencing a dog park. There's a space just for small fur babies that's fenced in and separated from the larger fur babies. They even have a 💧 water fountain ⛲️ just for the fur babies ✅️✨️💫💛 Plenty of space for the fur babies to run freely and just be pups! Did i mention the seating for us humans to just sit and meet other fur baby parent. Actually met a few awesome fur baby owners and their fur babies Playground Not for humans Restrooms Not for humans Dog-friendliness Yes and has a separate space for smaller fur babies Picnic area No

Nice size park. Friendly dogs. Easy parking. It can be a hit or miss when it comes to if people will be there.

I have an aggressive dog. Exercising her in the city is quite a task. Coco and I are so grateful for the park after hours.

Met my basic needs. Impressed with how smoothly it went.

I've started taking my pup here in the afternoons. The "small dog" side of the park is fairly limited in playtime amenities, but the dogs and folks who come to the park more than make up for that. The "large dog" side seems to have a lot more going for it, with plenty of features to keep your canine friends interested. Most folks are pretty good about picking up after their pets, and there's a hose available for cleaning up any stains. I think the city could improve cleanliness a little more by providing some complementary waste bags at the park.

This is a nice area for our dog's to play, it's fenced in and has a water fountain! However Dog's can't clean up behind their self. So its the owner's of the dog's that are messing it up for other's to enjoy!! CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET'S!!!!

Great updated dog Park that's fenced in with water fountains and separated areas for small & large dogs. Downside is that once it gets dark out, your more at risk to being mugged due to location (Train Stop, Bus Stops, & Near Bad Area).

Great park for the dogs, buch of bird poop currently, hopefully the city doesn't neglect it and clean it up just a little but.

Entirely depends on the day what the cleanliness level is. Not everyone picks up their poop as indicated BUT there’s a dog water fountain, lots of fenced off area, turf, a little grass, and plenty of space. Never too crowded like Patterson.

I love having a park so close but there are a number of frustrations. It's hard to know if there will be dogs to play with at any given time. There's no water for the dogs to drink. There's holes under the fence where balls can slip through. By over all if there are dogs to play with it's a really nice park.
