This is a beautifull park with Christmas light decorations we accidentally found when searching for free parking near the Fairmont hotel. In front of the Grace Cathedral Church, the park has a playground & fountains and dog-friendly

This tranquil park is a peaceful retreat, and a picturesque spot to enjoy San Francisco’s architectural grandeur. You can read a book or simply enjoy the surroundings. We came across this place during our stay at the Fairmont Hotel. This green space has a lot of benches and happy pups!

Fantastic spot for history, scenic views and grandeur. Locals in the park are generally welcoming, but keep in mind they do get tons of tourists. Maybe try not to look like one? I'm horrible at that and I've been local for months. 🤣 Seriously though, I've spent days here collectively, there's always new views and friendly dogs. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Huntington Park is a special place. It feels like an oasis atop this upscale neighborhood. Surrounded by refined buildings, historic hotels and beautiful Grace Cathedral. You can bring your small children here to play on the swings or jungle gyms. The play area has security fencing to ensure the safety of small toddlers or other youngsters. The beautiful fountain that dominates the center of the park is a replica of one in Rome, Italy. Notice the tortoises on the top which is what the fountain is named after. Neighbors gather throughout the day to relax or bring their dogs by to socialize & play. The historic lampposts give a lovely, romantic atmosphere to the park in the evening. All the vegetation is manicured and well cared for. Anytime of day, it’s pleasant to stroll by or through Huntington Park. Enjoy a moment in the heart of the City.

Incredible park! On a sunny day, this park offers you incredible views of the surrounding ding buildings, including Grace Cathedral. Playground for kids is top quality, including a very soft rubbery surface that absorbs their falls nicely. Plenty of free 2 hour parking around the streets connecting if you are driving. Park is not terribly busy, but there are benches around the perimeter for a nice sit and chat while you enjoy this amazing park in the City.

It's a beautiful place about the top of Nob Hill. The area has people enjoying the day sitting on benches, playing with their kids, and some even playing with their pets. You can tell a lot of people enjoy this park and it's very well maintained, and holds close proximity to Grace Church which is an amazing place as well. This park is kinda small but for all it has around it makes up for it. A wonderful place to bring a lunch and eat or take a rest break. Playground A small child's playground with swings. Restrooms No restrooms that I saw. Dog-friendliness Very dog friendly, has real grass. Picnic area Plenty of picnic space, lots of benches 0:22

💖Great spot in Nob Hill!** Visited Huntington Park in September 2024, and it’s a nice, clean, and placef to relax. Located in the Nob Hill neighborhood, the park is right next to Grace Cathedral, which is worth a visit for its architecture. The area has a calm vibe compared to other parts of San Francisco. You can easily get here by taking the cable car or a quick bus ride from downtown. As for safety, I felt comfortable during the day, and there were locals and tourists alike enjoying the space. Definitely a great place to take a break and enjoy the view.

Half A Sweet Square Block of elevated park space to enjoy. The water fountain, the relatively new children's play area, the view of the surrounding buildings, and you could really stop and smell the roses on the edges of the park. I really like the fall colors from the tress on the rim of the park. I enjoyed just sitting here for an hour before I went to a Concert at The Masonic.

Nob Hill has many famous attractions such as Grace Cathedral, SF. Cable car museum, Tonga Room (Fairmont Hotel), Mark Hopkins, Zeki's bar (82 yrs old) and Masonic Auditorium. Let's add a cute and quaint Nob Hill park called Huntington Park. This park is shrouded by hedges but once you are inside, you can enjoy famous replica of "Fontana delle Tartarughe" fountain. Restrooms Restroom onsite but limited hiurs Dog-friendliness Considered an on leash dog park Picnic area Benches for seating available but no barbecuers or tables.

I was there in the night wasn’t very pleasant wasn’t very receptive but today when I went, the glory was was there you can see the beauty the fountain is beautiful the layout is wonderful, and it’s in the shadows of a wonderfully made architecture a beautiful church, and I enjoyed both taking the beauty and I finally had a small bit with a thankful bit of conversation with a man name, Alex I liked him and was impressed with his perspective on the small little things we discussed, and he fed my soul with conversation, so I think the creator of the park the architect to the church and Alex for such a Pleasant morning

This park used to be so stunning and relaxing. I'd come and enjoy the grass and relax often. Now it is overrun with dogs without leashes on; multiple visits trying to lounge in the grass and people let their dogs pee on my blanket, pee next to my head, steal food, etc. Worst part is that the owners are aggressive about it and don't even apologize. Today was absolutely appalling - over 13 dogs running around loose. Attached is a video of just a couple of the dogs. These are HUGE dogs too, not small. The whole place smells like old pee and you can see the flies and nats flying all over. It's such a shame - this park has history and is beautiful and yet is not being treated with any type of respect. Also, my sister is absolutely terrified of dogs. She has panic attacks when dogs run up to her because she had an experience - and yet this is what we walk into. I don't think I'll be able to visit for a long while. Restrooms There are no bathrooms. Dog-friendliness Too friendly. This is a human park - not a dog park.

This was a find! Had to find a new park after my dog was attacked by a big, vicious dog w/ no leash at our normal one, now he's too scared to play there. This place was very nice, beautiful scenery and lots of benches. We enjoyed ourselves.

This hidden gem is worth the hike (or cable car ride) small but full of benches, fountains, and foliage, it's a perfect respite for anyone needing a moment. Dog and kid friendly.

Super cute park right across from a beautiful Cathedral. The park is small but does offer a playground and a fountain. There were Christmas lights hung in the park making it festive.

An oasis located in the heart of the city. Lots of views and places to rest and relax. Take your time walking up the hill and reward yourself with a fresh cup of coffee at the Vista.

One of the nicest neighborhood parks in the city, well kept, dairy lawn maintenance, friendly neighbors, beautiful view of the Grace Cathedral, water fountain, and the nearby architecture of the hotel and residential buildings. Depending on the time of the day, you can enjoy the sounds of dogs and owners hanging out at the park. Or the kids at the playground with their parents. Occasionally two or three homeless people sleeping in the benches. Recently, more common.

Lots of dog owners. Fun to see pooch craziness but sometimes it’s a bit much bc everyone’s off leash. Gorgeous fountains and well kept green yards across from many historic structures. Best respite spot in the lob hill / lower nob hill area.
