Indian Creek Greenway

Nice paved trail through a very green stretch in the "middle" of Huntsville right along Indian Creek. It's a very flat wide trail great for an easy walk, run, or bike ride.

Took my daughter here to take some pregnancy pictures.. this is a really pretty place.

Fairly well upkept and long walkway. Perfect for a walk.

Well paved walkway. I did see a few trails leading off in the wooded area. Well kept , clean, beautiful scenery. I’m not sure how long or far it goes but I was able to get in 5 miles.

I LOVE this greenway, even in the rain it is gorgeous. It is about 7 miles from tip to tip if you are doing any type of training. Playground It’s a little small but super family friendly! Restrooms There aren’t any as far as I know Dog-friendliness Definitely dog friendly, there is space for everyone!

Such a beautiful quiet place to take a walk, run, hike, or just some shade on a hot summer day. I really enjoyed quiet creek with the quiet sound of water trickling down the through the trees. The greenway has drainage issues and debris. Madison, Huntsville, or whomever is responsible for the area needs to do more. It is going down hill fast.

Great safe family place for a 5 mile walk with playground, disc golf, and dog park. Since my last review, where I mentioned they should pick up litter more often, they have improved. In 13 years of use I am personally aware of two car break-ins. So don’t leave valuables visible in your car. The bathrooms could use a deep cleaning.

29oct2021 FRI ~16:30 .. i went with Abby for a ~2 mile walk at the Indian Creek Greenway. The "Trail" is clean, and well-maintained. Lovely views of the woods and the Indian Creek. Encountered a total of ~8 people and 2 dogs; everyone's friendly and courteous. Thank y'all :)

The dog 's park.in not accesible all the time due to the terrains Some dog's owner do not keep their dog on leash.Also...How can we keep the park " free dogs waste" is there is no bags supplies avaiable. UPDATE..nothing change since my last time...more pooped left along the path can be found . Grass is not taken care. Update...after few weeks I went back to the dogs park....Clean and grass cut.I would think it could be possible to plant few trees on the small park side for shadow purposes and making the dogs and owners staying protect by the direct sun.Because today it was a good visit I decided to vote 5 stars.
