Jefferson Square Park

Yea it's not super clean but it serves its purpose. Better than the dog park near my house.

It's a little later than the typical dogging hour (7:30pm) but there are zero dogs. Such a convenient place for me so I'm going to keep trying. And try earlier too. There is however a fun basketball game to watch! PS as you'll see in the pic, infrastructure is a little ghetto. Playground There is an enclosed playground for young children here too. That, the baseball field and the court look clean and up to date. It's only the enclosed dog park that is kinda falling apart. Restrooms I have only seen them from outside Dog-friendliness If you and I put together like 15 dollars for materials I bet we could get the place perfect. Currently the security is not 100% and we need a lawn mower but otherwise I could see it being a great little dog park. I got five on it!

I object to the comments that this park isn't suited for man nor beast! Can't we all just get along and see where we can help not,-do- perfect places get better 🙏🏾🙏🏾? …

The dog park wasn't too covered in trash but one of the double dates was broken. You'll probably have to keep in mind the homeless around the park

This is NOT a park. Not a safe place for dogs, kids, or anyone. Has completely been taken over by a homeless community. Going here is like walking into their property.

Nice park came to easy my mind relax place things on order. And of course enjoy the people of the world

It was nice because it's nobody there it's a park to get a piece of mind yes you have a few homeless people but they mind there business so I give it a 3 stars

so cute until you realize a huge part of the gate is missing - allowing your dog to run directly into the street :/ The front entrance gate barely closes. So unsafe for your dog :(

The park does need maintenance for the gardening area and the fun activity equipment sections. Plus, updated renovation may play a crucial part for fellow citizen participation and consideration to visit. An Oaklandner, Marcus Pea. January 20, 2022

Need to have dog area made to only dirt or grass but over all beatiful view next to church and safe area friendly

Driving to this park was nearly a greater adventure than the actual hike! It is situated at the very top of a residential area, and requires maneuvering extremely narrow and winding roads.

Unfortunately this park shows significant signs of dilapidation. The dog parks are filled with trash and the playground was being occupied by the local homeless. Two starts because the basketball courts and baseball field are still usable.

They need to fix the light that's above the basketball court but, other than that, it's a cozy place to catch some R&R plus it's dog friendly.

Someone keeps breaking the fences. Otherwise my dogs love to run around and explore the park. It used to be so nice. It just needs some love to fix it up. Dog-friendliness Gates are broken so dogs can escape.

Good place to stop with baby for playing, but very duty. We come here to charge our car at nearby parking, but it was closed today. Otherwise we would not have come there.

My dogs like it here. They love chasing the pigeons and just watching people jog alongside the fence. It's a great place to just let them run off leash for a while and relax. We should fix the entry gate, but other than that, it's a nice little park.

NOT A SAFE PLACE for dogs, children or people. There were TWO uncapped drug needles in the large dogs’ dirt/play area. There also was a filthy homeless encampment in the children’s play area. No wonder it was empty. NEVER AGAIN!

Small dog park has alot of trash and debris

There are public restrooms durinf daylight hours if you have no other choice. This park is very clean, almost needle-free and very fewhomeless compared to similar arks in San Francisco.
