Joaquin Miller Dog Park

We take our dog there every week to socialize and have some fun in a safe environment. It's a really great dog park for large dogs and small dogs too

Beautiful setting in a larger forested park. Lots of good dogs for your pup to play with. There are seperate small and a large dog spaces. Plenty of parking.

Has both big and small dog, fenced in, fairly large and clean dog parks. Water available, plenty of parking, some shade morning and evenings. But mostly in the sun and warm middays.

There is a separate park for small dogs which is perfect for my little guy. Sometimes people sorta stretch what it means to be a small dog (biggest I’ve seen is 40 pound puppy) but every large dog that I’ve seen in the small area is friendly and gentle. My dog gets treated with love and respect by the other dogs and other dog owners. He gets excited going to the park as he knows he is going to get pets and attention. The only down side is that this park is mainly dirt so it gets easily picked up by the wind and can make anyone sneeze or get bad allergies. Overall calm, chill and a great place to socialize my dog

Very nice dog park. Many also just visit the park for a walk. Picnic area there were some picnic tables and my family had a nice picnic.

Fully fenced area with two water taps. Great park with lots of trees surrounding the area. Parking is available next to the little dog and large dog park. The base of the park is plush wood chips which my dogs loved to run on. Park wasn’t busy and was well maintained

Beautiful Location Ruined by Careless Owners Old berkeley/oakland hills hippies who have no idea how to control their dogs seem to dominate this place. Steer clear if possible. The dogs arenot properly trained and some are even vicious. Do yourself a favor and take the extra time to get to Alameda Dog Park. Much more well-adjusted dogs (and owners) there! This is NOT an isolated incident. Steer clear for the group that seems to sit around in a circle every day in the afternoon, and an individual with a vicious Boston Terrier that comes in around 11:30-12:30 Tues/Thurs.

Great dog park! Wood chip base, two faucets for dog bowls, fully fenced. Lovely group of dogs and people frequent this dog park. Big enough for ball throwing and zoomies. Plenty of parking.
