The good stuff: it's close to the library, the playground is great. There's two big structures to play on and one is specifically designed for little ones. The tag on the equipment says agrs 2-5 but my one year old was loving it. The area for older kids is great too. The bathrooms are right close to the play area and they have swings for babies & big kids. The less good stuff: parking! There's no lot and street parking is limited. (That's why 4, not 5 stars.)

Pleasant to just sit and relax. Should keep the children happy for at least 30 min. It has an undercover area and I saw a power point. Playground Area suites 3 to 8 years old. Restrooms Yes, did not use them but great to have them available. Dog-friendliness Yes, just have fun Picnic area There are tables in various places to sit. No cooking. Undercover area available.

Good park but often has a homeless man in the corner, dirty bathrooms, or overflowing trash cans. But overall, great little park for an afternoon with the kids or to toss a frisbee around

As my daughter put it, "This park has everything!" Playground, swings, pavilion, grill, picnic tables, drinking fountain, shade, grassy areas, restrooms, and quiet. We'll definitely add it to our list of picnic spots. Perfect for young families. Teenagers might be bored as the park is geared more toward kids, but that can be fixed with a Frisbee, soccer ball, baseball, or book.

Has a six or eight table pavilion, a wood chips playground, a restroom, and a years but enough for two games of frisby to go at the same time without trouble. There is also a table in the back corner for small parties!

I like how close this park is for so many families, but have two major issues. 1) There is no shade over the playground spaces, so the slides get unsafely hot in the summer, so you can only go very early in the day. 2) There are a large number of homeless people who frequent the park. I normally would not be bothered, but it is common knowledge not to use the restrooms because needles are frequently left in there. And that feels unsafe when you are the only parent at the park.

Joaquin Park is a great place to relax and enjoy some time outdoors. I’ve been here for walks and casual visits, and it always feels calm and well cared for. There’s a good amount of open space, and the park never feels overly busy. It’s easy to find a spot to sit, walk, or just enjoy the fresh air. The surroundings make it feel like a quiet escape while still being close to town. It’s a dependable park that’s easy to enjoy any time of day.

Great park with fun toys for all ages. Great grass area and picnic area. The only down side is that it gets really hot during the summer and there is very little shade.

Simple, fun playground. No parking area and street parking was full at 11 on a weekday. Restrooms and pavilion area with tables. Some shaded spaces, but playground has very minimal shade. Restrooms Yes Picnic area Pavilion with 4 metal tables plus 3 metal tables with charcoal grills on edges of park

Its a good park, but a small park. There are grills, tables, a pavilion with outlets. The field is really nice grass, it just isn't huge. The jungle gym is good for little kids.

We love this park. It has a great set-up with the pavilion and the two playgrounds, and the grassy field. It even feels a little foresty near the south east fence, where the kids liked to look for bugs. It loses one star only because there is never anywhere to park.

Good swings and park set up! There's a decent amount of space there to sit on the grass away from others. Very much enjoy going here. Good pavilion and grill as well.

Really cute, neighborhood park. Most of the time there are is a small amount of people there, but I haven't ever felt like it wad crowded. There is a small, covered pavilion you cab reserve through the city. There is not a parking lot, so all the parking is just on the street, but I haven't had a problem. The play area is full sun, so make sure you have sunblock.

Clean and quiet! They've added a new toddler-friendly section for little kids. Only downside is there is little shade and not enough swings!

A small little park with a playground and a pavillion. Great for playing games with small groups. Well kept grounds, and a grill and picnic tables are easily accessible from the road if you are going there for a picnic. Usually not too crowded

We've enjoyed coming here to play. It's in a quiet neighborhood and the streets around aren't busy. The playground is small and has never been super crowded, which is nice for smaller children.

This is a great cute little park! It has a nice play area that is appropriate for small and older children. Surrounding the play area are plenty of benches and a shaded Picknick bench area. There is a nice swing set. And there is also some green space, in which you can play sports. Additionally there is a restroom at this park. All in all this is a nice park, though small it has everything you need and is always kept clean.

Great park for toddlers and kids. They have two baby swings and two normal swings. Tables and benches under a pavilion and lots of benches surrounding the park. There's also lots of green grass the kids loved playing tag in.

Great little park, surrounded by mostly student housing and new family homes. My Boys love going and playing at this park. The lawn is well maintained and the playground is in good condition. I didn't give 5 stars because the bathrooms could be kept cleaner

Cute park for small gatherings and little ones. Nearby streets are 25 mph and very minimal traffic. Grill is added bonus for get togethers.
